If you're in the area (being around a half hour drive from Ronda or a 50 minute drive from Zahara de la Sierra), it's well worth stopping for a little while to see the unusual houses built into the overhanging cliffs. We parked on a...More

Setenil de las Bodegas is an amazing place to visit. If you can't park near the center, then there's a public park on the north side of the village. It's about 10 minutes walk to the center and you'll get a chance to find other...More

Parking can be a little difficult, but don't let that put you off from visiting. If you are in the area it is definitely worth a detour to see the spectacular views and have lunch or a coffee.

As a reviewer this month has already written, Setenil De Las Bodegas is a “Wonder small town to wander through”. It is a whole village in a small gorge, built into - and onto - cragged rocky overhangs. Park up and walk its steep narrow...More

Stopped here on way from Ronda to Granada. Gorgeous small village with houses built under rock outcropping. Had lunch here and walked around a bit. Does not take long to see.

On our way by car from Seville to Ronda, we stopped by this small hill town. If you can, just spend 1-2 hours wandering, then have a cup of coffee or a glass of wine at a cafe down in the gorge. The narrow steep...More
