A most interesting geyser that shoots up a few storeys high every 12 minutes for only a minute or so by the seaside. And a pleasant area to soak your tired legs in hot spring water. Definitely worth paying the ¥300 entry fee.

It is a super small park run by the town of Shikabe. Along Highway 278 from Hakodate to the north, we accidentally found this small geyser park. Ample free parking spaces are available across from the highway near the beach. The admission fee is JPY300....More
