I can't remember if I've reviewed this place yet, so I'm doing it again, so I'm sure to tell you to GO. Go see this place. Take the turn off the main route in New Caledonia and follow the signs to this gorgeous place. Getting back to Turtle Bay is a little confusing, but figure it out! this may be... More

Really beautiful beach and rock formations. The tunnel through the mountain that leads out to another beach is awesome.

poe beach is a beautiful beach right on the edge of the lagoon. it has very few facilities including camping grounds and a 3 star hotel. There are not many options for food either but the stand out was the snack kiosk called l'alize rigth on the beach and serving delicious french inspired food. not 5 star dinning but great... More

Fantastic natural surrounds, the clear water and white sandy beaches say it all. Only problem was a recent fatality with a shark attack (encounter) so all water sports and swimming are closed. Otherwise a great place. Fantastic Snack spot at the end of the beach.

Eve may have been kicked out of Paradise but her sisters are still hangin' around, wearing a mini bikini. You know, when they promote these Pacific islands, beaches in the sun, palm trees, blue lagoons...yes?!? You're with me on that one? They also add a chick in a white nikini or with a white sarong around her waist, right, or... More

Nice rock formation and some short walks with atmospheric views. Not worth the trip just for it but a nice couple of hours could be spent there on your way to the Sheraton close by or when going up north.

Beautiful area. We visited for one morning. Photographed bonhomme rock, climbed over the hill to an adjoining beach. Beautiful. Breathtaking.

Roche Percee is only a short drive from Bourail on a reasonable road. A great little walk starts from near the carpark, up over the Roche Percee headland (the base of which is closed, due to its dangerous condition) and down again into a lovely little bay, Baie des Tortues, then more huff and puff over headlands and down again... Poe Beach is located approx. 2.5hrs drive north of Nouema & 9km north of La Roche Percee. The small town of Bourail is close by too. The beach is long with nice white sand within a natural landscape of local fauna. There is limited facilities however across the road is a newly build hotel called Hotel De Poe which is... More
