There was so many very interesting and unique pieces of history in such a small space it was well worth the suggested donation as well as your own personal tour on almost every piece

We were incorrectly told at the welcome visitor center that the museum was good and free but in reality you are requested to make a suggested donation which means it is not actually free. The viewing area across the road is overgrown with trees so...More

As we arrived a very nice staff person gave us the details of Nicolas Denys trading post and lots of old artifacts. Donations it was worth it to go see.

This pleasant museum is displayed as a French trading post and gives a glimpse into life during the late 18th century when currency was scarce and bartering trade goods and food items was common.

this small community museum hosted by a local volunteer will give you an historical background for the beginings of this community and it is located with a beautiful view of the canal.
