    Amazing place
We are long standing fans of this place. It truly gives you a wow each time you are there - animals, architecture, spaces etc. Attention to the details and genuine attitude to make this place special and magical creates a deep happiness after spending there a day with family or even on your own. Absolutely a must see.

Wonderful animal park - like no other in Europe!
Excellent animal park - like no other in Europe! You'll experience a travel across the globe during your visit. You can find a fantastic playground for the younger ones if they get tired of walking or hop on a steam train (don't forget to buy a ticket though) and 'toot-toot' though the park. There are eating areas around every now and then. Keep an eye out for the special feeding times or shows (e.g. the bird show or bathing the elephants) to get the full enjoyment of the animals. The only regret I have is that visitors around the park smoke and this makes the experience rather disturbed on times. It is difficult to get from one animal to another without getting smoke puffed several times in your face and for a family park it could perhaps be solved differently. But leaving these moments aside, the park itself is extremely well done and an experience worth to visit.

    A very nice family adventure
An amazing place. Lot and lots of animals. And there are so well presented. The only down point will be the number of the restaurant open for this huge place. Only one will not be enough, especially when you get in front of you about two groups of kids and you need to wait about 20 min to order. And the choice of dishes is quit limited to just sandwiches and salad. A bit of frustration when you see signs of two or three restaurant but al, of them close.

    Best zoo ever
This is a truly magical place. It is the best zoo I have ever visited. Amazing variety of animals, nature and decoration. The detail specific to each continent is insane. We have spent 7h in there and still didn't manager to see at least a third of the zoo about which I was really upset. I cannot recommend it highly enough, thank you for creating such a wonderful experience for families. We will be back next year!!!

    Great but problem in summer
We had a great time but all of the smaller drink stands were closed and we spent a long time finding a place to buy a drink, which was not very nice in the extreme heat. Vending machines would be nice. Signage could also be better in general (not one sign points to a restroom of place to eat/drink)

    Unforgettable Experience
We stayed in the Full Moon Lodge and WOW it was out of this world. Being so close to the bears and wolves was incredible and the accommodation so luxurious yet completely suitable for our 2 year old daughter. The entire experience and service was exceptional and we would highly recommend it to anyone.

More space for the animals than an average zoo but visitor food and animal labels require improvement
There seems to be more space for the animals than in an average zoo. The animals look healthy and looked after. For a zoo that emphasises its role in nature conservation and education the food & snack repertoire is truly disappointing and far from sustainable, not even as an option. Only bottled drinking water is available on site, there are no drinking water fountains to freshen up and even the water in the toilets is labeled as not suitable for drinking. The animal labels could be made more consistent and easier to find. E.g. in the Aquarium there are screens that show several animals one after the other, so you have to wait for the animal of your interest to (re)appear. On the other hand there is very little time to check the label when it does appear, so the function of the label is lost. Same as food, the shops should also be steered towards sustainability like in other known zoos around the world.

    Amazing Zoo and architecture
This was an incredible experience and so much thought and work has gone into creating not only excellent facilities for the animals but an architectural wonder. The zones are so useful in teaching children where each animal comes from and also many enclosures enabled you to get a very good view of the animals. So the children can really experience their size and habitat.

    Great Zoo.
I went there for the day with two 15 year old boys - who were initially sceptical. They were very happy for the entire day - wondering about and seeing all the different animals. It is huge so don't plan to see everything, enjoy the areas you do visit.

    Best Zoo!! I recommend it.
If you have a child who loves animals, this is a must-visit zoo. A bit pricey admission but worth it. One day is not enough to visit all of this place. You will be overwhelmed from the entrance. Give it a try! Highly recommended!

We had high expectations of the new edition. As we mostly visit this park in high season and its very beautiful in summer time. But now alot of “lands” were closed. Afrika was closed off, we couldt see the animals. As it was open till 21h we expected that there would be some places light up so we could still see something, but everything was dark and we couldnt see any animals. Top of the bill, iceskating, cost an extra 6€, we paid 24€ to be on plastic plates that wasnt even able to skate on. Everybody was complaning so after 5 min on it we left.

This is a very spacious park with lots of animals and the staff we saw interacting with the animals seemed attentive to their welfare. However, this remains a case of captivity of wild animals for the entertainment of human beings. Once you know how much territory various wild animals cover in the wild, how they act and interact in the wild, how they forage and hunt for food, you can only conclude that captivity is simply wrong and that there is no need for children or adults to absolutely have access to captive animals.

It hurts to see sea lions swim endlessly in wide circles. It is specially heartbreaking to see how the feeding time of animals is engineered to please high paying guests in rooms built to give them first row seats so to speak. The bears are in their enclosure and sit waiting for their morning feeding session. A member of staff drives on the wide path running high above the enclosure and hurl fruits down to the bears. The fruits shatters in pieces and the bears run for the broken pieces. The vehicles keeps moving as the fruits are thrown down, and this with the aim of getting the bears to break into a run along the windows of the rooms of guests who have paid to be as close to the bears as possible, and see them scrabble for food . It is equally heartbreaking to see food thrown practically under the windows of the rooms that overlook the enclosure and pool of polar bears so that guests can take photos. The main objective here is entertainment for visitors. The music playing from speakers everywhere and the decor inspired from various parts of the world emphasize that this theme park is all about entertainment of people. This is the second time we are seeing animals in captivity. Moving forward, our family will never visit zoos and parks but instead experience animals in the wild and contribute to help animals stay in the wild in their natural habitat

Pairi Daiza states on its website that it " has decided to drastically limit its number of visitors." This is not true in reality. I cannot imagine more people in the park (not even in non Corona times). It was often hard to get through the crowd on the pathways. Long queues and crowded situation developed in front of the animal exhibits almost everywhere. Most of the people don't respect physical distancing. This is understandable, because often it is impossible to keep distance if you want to see the animals. We sometimes just left without getting the chance to see them.
A number of people don't wear their masks properly, but no one cares.
It would be a lovely garden with great facilities, but this was so disappointing. We didn't feel safe. Such a crowd would be annoying even if there wasn't a pandemic.

My first visit to Paira Daiza was an incredible discovery. I was pleased with how easy everything
was - from booking online to the well organised parking and welcome. The attractions themselves were among the best I have ever seen - wonderful architecture, beautiful artwork, gorgeous plants, tasty food and drinks, and healthy and well-looked after animals. Visiting during a pandemic meant wearing a mask when necessary, but this was clearly and politely announced and controlled. I highly recommend a visit to this stunning local attraction.

My kids were thrilled to see the animals in close distance.

It was a very big with full of animals.

We enjoyed the train ride and it was helpful to see more animals comfortably.

I would recommend to go there early morning if it’s possible.

We got there around 1130am and left right before 6pm but we couldn’t look around the whole zoo..

I had a trouble to find parking lot.
Parking lot number 2 is the closest parking lot from the Zoo.

We purchased the parking ticket and tickets for Zoo online with discounted price in advance.

However , my kids(6,8) had an amazing time!

Pairi Daiza is a lovely place and it is huge. I really did not expect what one could see there. All the buildings and structures with sooo happy animals. The space they have is immense, so they really behave and probably even feel as good as in their natural environment. I would only recommend every visitor to bring their lunch with them, because some of the snack bars and restaurants were closed and the queues in front of the open ones were often long.

There is so much more here than just the animals, though these are the main reason we go! Every sense is ‘touched’; every where you look there are little details that catch your eye from carvings in the pathways to art installations promoting hands on involvement. The different types of music that is played subconsciously creates the atmosphere of the environment that is that particular animals natural habitat.
We go at least once a month, if not more, and we still haven’t seen all there is to offer.

We went with 4 adults and 2 babies. The park is beautiful, the animals are exotic and amusing to watch. The infrastructures are also very beautiful and enormous. The stad was very friendly and helpful. However the Reason for the average rating is the very poor foodquality. You pay a big price (decent restaurant-level) but recieve subpar mass produced tasteless food. The food for 5 was ready in less than 10minutes. Microwaved no doubt. IT lacked any sort of spicing and the shrimps looked and tasted like pieces of tasteless bubblegum.

Despote this, a very fun day, especially for the children. I would recommend coming here with your family. However bring your OWN food!! :))

Many animals on a large territory in an impressive setting. The animals felt mostly content and happy. For example the bears' and wolves' enclosure looked very impressive. It felt that the staff know their animals well and are strongly committed. The concept seems to be to create the cultural setting of particular regions from where the animals come. This is impressive, although it is also misleading, as in their countries of origin most of the animals would want to keep as far away as possible from these temples and buildings. The emphasis seems to be on creating visitor experience, there is maybe a risk of going too far with it (new hotels and accommodations etc). We visited during the Christmas period and spent the whole day there. There was a lovely atmosphere, but I would question the playing of Christmas music from loudspeakers all over the park. Wouldn't this noise be a source of additional stress for the animals? So while developing the park further, I hope that consideration is given to animal welfare, and to maintaining a safe and stress-free environment for them.
The floating skating rink was a big attraction, but visitors should be prepared that it is plastic and you would not be able to use your usual skating moves and it would be not a usual skating experience. This was not well communicated to visitors in advance.

Impressive premises, lots of animals, beautiful environment. Everything was clean and very well kept. My children were amazed and want to go back. We got there at 10:30 and left just before it closed at 19:00. We still missed some animals at the aquarium. It´s too big to do it in one day, but the ticket is expensive enough to buy just one. No discounts for families. Children below 12 pay little less than adults.
