Huge space and the chance to meet rare, endangered animal species. Beautiful interior design and atmosphere. A big plus is that there are no special covid restrictions, so we could fully relax. The only minus is too many people, but I understand that everyone wants to be able to visit. Recommended.

No phone support of you have any trouble with your tickets. I had a mistake in my email and got no help so had to buy tickets again the previous day. At the entrance they gave me the contact of the person in charge. I have written and phoned but they don't answer or give me back my money, so they took double.
Very bad client attention. Will not go again recommend it.

Pairi Daiza states on its website that it " has decided to drastically limit its number of visitors." This is not true in reality. I cannot imagine more people in the park (not even in non Corona times). It was often hard to get through the crowd on the pathways. Long queues and crowded situation developed in front of the animal exhibits almost everywhere. Most of the people don't respect physical distancing. This is understandable, because often it is impossible to keep distance if you want to see the animals. We sometimes just left without getting the chance to see them.
A number of people don't wear their masks properly, but no one cares.
It would be a lovely garden with great facilities, but this was so disappointing. We didn't feel safe. Such a crowd would be annoying even if there wasn't a pandemic.

If you feel like travelling the world in one day, try this park. Great mix of architecture, garden, music and obviously the animals. This time discovered the last frontier and the Russian section. We will come back for sure!

We saw many positive reviews and were lured to visit it, since the COVID restrictions there is not much to do.

We really regret having wasted a day and spent money on this place.

We don’t understand why people say one day is not enough to see it all as we entered at 10 and by 14:30 we literally saw all the “worlds” including a short lunch break... and we visited with a toddler. Hence slower.

It is quite tiring to walk around through ugly side roads, cheap cement reconstruction of the Belgian imaginary of what China could be (or other parts of the world..: even they made a sort of fusion with india and Indonesia ... well no respect for foreign cultures at all but forgivable for an amusement park undercover as a zoo).

The huge space is wasted in construction of ugly architecture and very very less space is left to the animals.

Some animals are just too exposed with no chance for a little privacy, cages (however you call them ) are dirty as well as most the animals they contain. Elephants have very little water and no tree to shelter, hippos have too little space as well as the walrus is a huge thing which seems so uncomfortable in the pond it has.

I just felt pity for the animals being hosted there.
Or maybe the dirt of the environment, of the glasses just made it look sadder.

Koi carps swim in such a dirty pond I guess it has never been cleaned.
The pandas turned from white to brownish fur from the dirt of the place.

It a quite difficult for young children as most cages have a high cement barrier so you Amy find yourself continuously take up your child for them to see. Long queues pretty everywhere as the area from which animals can be seen are few and packed. Luckily the park was quite empty.
All queues are under the sun (or most likely the rain ) and no cover or tree to make the waiting comfortable.

The epicentre of each “world” is the souvenir shop. Large buildings to host small amusement park style souvenirs.
Each world has a food stand selling all the same thing. French fries, Belgian sandwiches, Ice creams and waffles. All the worlds. Same food. Was expecting something more creative but alas, Belgium.

To see the animals there is a lot of walking around, which could be fun if the view was not so boring. An adult could close the eyes and run to the next but difficult to make a toddler accept to walk around this ugliness.

Polar bear have no access to a cooled zone, just left in the weather as it is. Hot ? Just sweat guys.

Plastic stones (not a joke) cement, iron rods painted bamboo color are just few of the disappointing things around.

You can see a lot of ducks. Some birds are ok. Some just caged in a pity tiny cage.

Waiting time to buy a sandwich with two people in front : 20 minutes .

Waiting time for an ice cream with 3 people on front : 40 minutes.

Queue for the train ride : 2 hours, under the sun. And it’s not for free.

Besides we just don’t get used to the local culture of pushing, skipping the queue.

Ah yes the parking is great.
So totally not recommended, thanks god we didn’t book the night there.

Pairi Daiza is exceptional. We enjoy every minute of our visits. This year, we spent a night in the Paddling Bear resort as well. We woke up with sea lions outside calling for food :) and we were able to enter the main park an hour before general opening hours, which gives you a little headstart. With the COVID-19 measures, some indoor places are closed, but understandable considering the circumstances. Great experience, definately returning and hoping to book one of the full moon lodges.

We enjoyed a marvellous stay at Pairi Daizi, the staff were all very helpful and respectful of all current sanitary regulations. Our lodge was incredible, like a smaller version of a luxury hotel & we really appreciated all the touches of luxury provided ( a sauna, lovely soft towels and bathrobes, a cosy log fire that looked so real, to name but a few), a terrific view and having our meals delivered to the lodge made it so much easier to travel with a small child. The park itself is incredible, the most beautiful gardens, highly imaginative representations of the 5 continents and so much to see & do; in two days we still had not really seen everything. We hired a pull along trolley, which was a great idea for carrying our bags and a tired child, you can hire them by the main entrance. I highly recommend this destination, we had a wonderful visit and have taken so many great memories home.

Its an excellent spot for day or two-day trip. There is maybe no better zoo in Europe. The only bad thing - the food. Expensive and poor quality (waffles were just heated up). In every restaurant they offered the same
