Visited the caves as part of our coach tour. Had a tour of the site with a guide, with tasting afterwards. We then had the opportunity to purchase cheese and flavoured biscuits and crisps. Interesting visit and would definitely go again

Low clouds, dull & misty whilst in Millau, definitely the time to go underground. Our visit to the Roquefort Societe cheese caves was both enjoyable & informative. With just 3 other couples we were shown around the caves in which the cheeses are started ripened...More

Sadly were were out of season, as all our tours are, so there was no cheese in the caves, but plenty in the shops. The real stuff certainly knocks you head off with the it's pungency and strength. We still remember some odd cheese facts...More

Had a tour round the Rocquefort cheese caves - the guided tour is supposed to take around an hour. The guide speaks French but some of the video exhibits are in English or easy to translate but there's much I didn't understand. You get a...More

We visited again the caves where the Roquefort cheeses are ripened. It is wonderful to see how the cheese is transferred into a quality product. If you like this kind of cheese this is the place to visit.

not to go on a French tour - it gets very tedious even if you have passable French. Seeing a few cheeses in a cave can never be that interesting and surely we should have known that - but my wife insisted - so we...More

We drove from Millau to Abli, and passed by Roquefort. In order to kill time, we attended this factory tour. The ticket 5€ gets you an English or French information sheet, which explains everything even before you enter into the cave. Since we understand the...More

Well there is very little else to do in Roquefort, there are several places where you are told in advertisements you can see cheese being made, there may well be, but if there are we didn't find them. In one we visited, expanded polystyrene had...More

Cheesy and fun. Nice little shop to taste some cheese and buy some souvenirs. Caves are about 12C which is great on a hot day. Don’t worry if the tour is only in French, they will give you an English translation to read along with.
