A great evening out with the team from the low head penguin tours. The staff are very knowledgable. We saw a good number of penguins coming out of the sea, we followed them walking along the sand to their nests in the bush. Very cool tour and some great gifts to pick up from the little shop!

First checked out the penguins at Low head quite a few years ago and whilst OK it was not something I would enthusiastically recommend, and when it was suggested we check out the Penguin Tour at Low Head on our most recent visit I was not particularly interested, How things change, I would now put this in the 'Don't miss... I cant count how many people I've recommend this tour to in the last few days since returning. This is a wonderful, intereactive and informative tour. So much more than you think you will experience. Shirley and her team are so passionate about what they do, it is wonderful to see, and the knowledge they bring to this makes it... More

If you go in winter, make sure you rug up very well! The tour was well organised and run. The guides were very informative and really care about the penguins they see each night. The guides allowed close access but were very strict about behaviour to ensure the wellbeing of the penguins. They managed the children on our tour particularly... More

WOW!!! We went in early May, so it was windy and cold, but SO worth it! It was a short drive from Georgetown and Low Head Pilot Station, easy parking, and we were two of the four people on the tour that night. A naturalist gave us lots of background and information, including a fact sheet. She wasn't just working... More

What a truly unbelievable experience!! Words can not adequately describe the amazement of having penguins literally scurry past at your feet. The guides are so knowledgeable and make the experience even more special. The little things taking the kids off for their own adventure to check out the nests to sitting them in prime position on the rocks right next... More

This was a wonderful Penguin Tour that we decided to do after reading great reviews here on Trip Advisor. So glad we did. Got to see the Penguins so close, they walk right past you. The guides are very informative and friendly, great with the kids and give you lots of opportunities to get photos/videos of the Penguins. The little... More

The visit was one of the life time experience and despite the bitter cold, really worth it! Having the little fella walking thru under your legs is again fascinating and exciting. The stars above your head was also amazing!😊

We had already done the Penguin parade in Philip Island and were absolutely fascinated. So when we toured Tasmania, we thought we shouldn't miss out on another chance to meet those cute little waddling dwarves. We went in with low expectations thinking it will be a poorly organised show but were completely blown away. You get to see penguins from much... More

An absolute "must do" in Low Head! These precious little penguins come waddling by so close you could almost touch them. The guides are super friendly and full of knowledge and very good with children. Highly recommend!
