Easy to book, great clear communication throughout the booking process. Our driver was a lovely guy and did a great job driving us round the national park pointing out animals that we would never have spotted. Also provided lovely lunch. As much as our driver tried we didn't spot a leopard that day but all in all really enjoyable!!

Ask for Chula to drive, guide, and track your Yala Safari. The guy spotted every imaginable thing from the tiniest ant to the largest elephant. His eagle eyes and tracking knowledge even found fresh leopard prints. We have done many safaris in Africa and Chula ranks among the best of the guides. Even though his English isn't perfect, he knows the names of all the different species and is able to point them out in his books. Also, his parents cooked our incredibly delicious lunch which we ate near the beach.

We did a jeep safari with this company yesterday and it was pretty good! We paid around 55 quid for 2 people to go on safari for half a day which is the standard rate.
The driver, also offered us a lift to Ella from Yala. The amount is quite pricey but the traffic is heavy for quite a lot of the journey so it is understandable.

We took a tour and everything was good. We watched many birds and saw nice landscapes. Actually we missed a leopard but elephant passed very close to our car.

We had a full day safari at Yala, which was a nice experience. In hindsight I would only book a half day safari, that would be just fine.
The communication before our trip was very good and we were picked on time. The Yala was not my favorite part of Sri Lanka but for someone who hasn't done a safari before it's worth visiting.
I can definitely recommend our tour operator - he made sure we had an English speaking guide and the food was also very tasty. Don't forget your binoculars ;)

Had a fantastic full day safari in Ayala with Chula our driver. He picked us up from our hotel. Chula has years of experience and spotted loads of animals. He's very knowledgeable and really cares about wildlife conservation. The price was very reasonable and cheaper than the safaris on offer through our hotel. Brilliant company. Highly recommend!

We highly recommend that you book at this company for your YalaSafari. Better prices than the hotels, and also a guide/driver that will go the extra mile to give you a nice experience. He spotted animals we cold not see ourselves and stopped and showed us, and also took you fast, but safe, to places where it was said that a certain animal was spotted. Very satisfied with the service and experience !!

The 3 of us were picked up at 5 in the morning to go for a full day safari. After being asked the day where we were from abd we told him Germany, we were really happy to meet our very knowledgable German speaking driver Chula, who has been a guide in Yala for 24years already. When entering the park, we were joined by a park ranger. The only downside/weird thing was that our driver and the guide didnt seem to get along that well. That being mentioned, the driver seemed to know everyone around while the ranger only spoke little English and was also only in his 20s. At some point the driver heard via mobile phone about the location of the leopards which is why he drove reverse into a oneway street to get there as fast as possible. This was clearly cheeky and we got a feeling why the driver and the park ranger didnt get along that well. But since nobody was harmed, for us it was amazing as we were able to spot 2 leopards like this. Food (curry) was included for lunch, 3l of water and some fruit juice packs were given to us together with some snacks (fresh fruit). Later we were dropped off at the hotel again after a lovely day of seeing elephants from very close, buffaloes, chamaleons, wild boar, jackals, crocodiles, leopards and plenty of birds! Definitely a recommendation and also cheaper than some of the other tours offered to us in the hotel. Still try and negotiate a price!

Been to Yala few times but this was the most memorable one out of them all thanks to the friendly and very professional service provided.
They know the best about the part and the animals, hence was lucky enough to spot some amazing movements of most of the animals all around the park.

There will be 4 hour distance from Koggala to Tissa. Normally we pick guests from Tissa at 05.00 am in the morning.
We can provide few kinds of tours.

02 Seven hour safari
03 Full day safari
