In the summer of 2018 we (Dutch familie of 4, kids 13 and 18) travelled to discover the beauties of Sri Lanka.
We walked to this dagoba from our hotel en were charmed by the way it is surrounded by water with water lilies.

The place is quiet big and very neatly maintained. I liked the Pure white color be it the temple exterior or the white clothes of the locals and even the hotel linen and bathrooms are sparkling white. Its really amazing

Fascinating place right next to the main road from Debarawewa to Tissa. Huge dagoba apparently filled with earth with some interesting carvings on the perimeter walls. Nice setting with water around. Ancient and interesting.
