Going here was an amazing experience. It wasn’t just another ordinary wine tasting were you are told a bunch of things your don’t understand about wine in order to get you to purchase their products. This winery (I had Freddy as a guide, who was funny and knowledgeable) really does a great job in helping you learn about wine tasting. I loved it and I definitely recommend you visit them if you are in Mendoza.

Although the bodega was closed (we took a cab and ringed just ringed the doorbell, so tip: always call and reserve upfront for visiting the bodegas 😅) they (Freddy) let us in and was super, super friendly! He helped calling other bodega’s and gave us a wine to taste. We can’t thank him and the place enough. Definately will come back when it’s open (after reserving upfront ;) and recommend it! 🙏🍷

Federico's knowledge and clarity for explaining so much about wine is absolutely extraordinary - as well as the wine you'll try itself, of course. The experience is very well planned, vineyards and the facilities are gorgeous. Also had lunch and it was delicious, really good level, and you can rest in the hammocks by the garden afterwards. A definite must-do in Mendoza.

Small family run tours, groups of under 20 for the evening '2 hour' experience

I was traveling alone, only in Mendoza for an afternoon so tour was ideal for 1.5 hours. Advertised as 4.00pm start, started at 4.30pm and finished by 6.10pm

Guide was knowledgeable and spoke English, you are given the opportunity to try 4 wines at various stages of production. I travelled by taxi from the Park Hyatt in the city centre, it’s a 20 minutes’ drive and the cost was under 600 peso for one way. They will call you a taxi for your return trip at the winery. It is also on a bus route stop, as other members of the tour took the bus (which is cheaper then taxi)

Overall enjoyable, and the wine is very good, and very well priced 400 - 600 pesos (4-6 UKP) and available to purchased from the shop

We just had a fantastic tour & tasting at Tierras Altas. We booked on the 4:30pm tour and arrived a little early & we were the only two booked on the tour. Cesar was a fantastic guide, informative, enthusiastic & happy to answer all of our many questions. It was great to taste the wine in the different stages of the process & there was no shortage in terms of tasting. We took a local bus there and then a taxi back which made for a great value trip especially if like us you wanted to focus on one winery instead of several in one day (that the tours seem to offer). I cannot recommend this winery enough, fantastic balance of explanation & wine tasting.

This is a very unique wine tour in which you are able to taste malbecs straight from the tanks, from youngest to oldest. It was also the most educational wine tour we've ever been to (and we are from SF so close to Napa and Somona). Freddy spent hours with us teaching us everything we wanted to ask about and was fun, engaging, and clearly so passionate about what he does. To top it off, we finished with a 2005 reserve malbec that was very reasonably priced, so we bought two bottles for special occasions at home. They are coming to LA at some point soon, so look out for them there!

Cesar is a great host and loves his job. The tour is interesting and fun! You learn new things about the wine industry. It is a great way to spend the afternoon-I recommend going here for the day and enjoying, different than rushing through several wineries in one day. The lunch was delicious and they have lots of good merchandise to buy for gifts. They got it right!

Definitely #1 wine and dining (lunch) experience in Mendoza, Federico knows so much about wine and is so enthusiastic explaining about it. Food, hammocks, rest, landscape, everything's amazing.
