We went there for lunch. Food was OK, service was lazy. Wine pairing with very low quality wines. Very disappointed.

My husband and I just returned from an amazing trip to Argentina. While in Mendoza we visited Ruca Malen. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. We decided to do the 5 course pairing for lunch. We were seated in this beautiful room that looks out to their vineyard. The food was excellent and was presented beautifully. They are also very accommodating... More

My husband and I went there for lunch with wine pairings. Everything was delicious and well presented. We had a table with a view of the "Cordilheira dos Andes". The wines were pretty good. Reservations are required. All the tables were taken when we arrived. The only reason I don't rate the place with five stars was the noise. There... More

Go for the lunch with wine pairing. It's a great way to sample the wines as they're meant to be enjoyed. We particularly loved the chardonnay and the petite Verdot. Service was excellent and the winery itself is very picturesque. Reservations are required.

My husband and I went on a wine tour including 3 wineries, Catena Zapata, Achaval Ferrer and Ruca Malen where we had a delicious lunch with wine pairings for all courses. The setting was also so beautiful eating outdoors under a canopy. Our winery tour was through Sak wine and travel and our guide was Vicente Cardusa who was really... More

For a winery that offers a five course meal with wine pairings, put this place at the top of your list. It is more expensive that what our family typically pays for a meal but it was absolutely worth it!! The food was delicious and very creative. We loved every wine we tried. The view out over the vineyard was... More

After a brief tour of the grounds and the wine-making process, you can have a five course tasting menu with wine pairings, each geared toward highlighting the particular wine. The food is elevated. We had an "empanada" that was far fancier than anything we had in Buenos Aires. The main course was a steak that was the tenderest steak I... More

Ruca Malen was a fabulous experience, wine tour of the vineyards and the processing plant followed by a gastronomic feast - a 3 hour lunch with 6 different wines paired with a specific food course. The food was perfect for each wine and cannot say enough of each wine - so great that we bought a few bottles of our... More

We cycled here in the sunshine from Cavas Wine Lodge. The tour of the vineyard was very interesting and added to the anticipation for lunch. The food and service was superb, the wine pairing divine. However what made every mouthful so amazing was the breathtaking location in front of the Andes. I had to pinch myself to check I was... More
