We were looking for a winery with a good restaurant overlooking the vineyards. This place offered that and more! With the Andes as the backdrop and amazing service, we spent many hours soaking it all with great food and delicious wine. The degustation is a great option and great value for what you get! Typical melt in your mouth Argentinian beef and smooth Mendoza wines! Our waitress Maria(??) really made the experience!

This is a small family run winery set in a delightful spot. Our host - can’t remember his name, but he spoke excellent English - did an excellent job explaining many aspects of wine production and we had a really informative tasting session with him. We’ll worth a visit.

Popped in without reservation a little early as tours are scheduled on the hour . We sat outside with a great view of mountains and vineyards on a sunny day . Jasmine bought us a glass of why’re while we waited . She showed us the soil and vines and explained in great detail pruning and propagating of new vines . Also had the process of making wine . She was very detailed and explained it comprehensively . Then the tasting the best part . I would highly recommend the the more expensive option for the aged wines . They were all great . My fav was the wine aged in the French oak . Had a memorable time . She is Canadian and speaks English and Spanish . Thanx Jasmine .

Do not overlook! We were staying nearby, cose enough to walk over to this unassuming bodega. Our airbnb host told us it was her favorite in the region and the favorite among her visitors as well, so we moved it up on our list. We dawdled all day (our usual habit) and did not show up at the door until 4:45, past the last usual starting hour for tours and tastings. Janina let us in regardless, gave us a nice place to sit while she finished up with their last bus tour of the day, then gave us her full attention for a magical hour and a half of conversation moving easily between english and spanish (my partner is Argentinean), multiple generous pourings of very high quality wines and the beautiful light of the closing day falling all around us. Janina was knowledgeable, charming, friendly and kind, despite extending our visit past the 6 pm closing hour. The winemaking here is both distinctive and interesting - I won’t spoil your own discoveries with an inadequate summary. We took away three bottles of excellent wine, but what we really encountered here was the kind of unhurried, gentile and totally wonderful personal visit you dream about to a boutique winery. Still smiling several hours later. Highly recommended.

Great wines of course but in between enjoy some corn empanadas and a very friendly wine 101. Loved it!

Nice vineyard to visit. When you buy a plate of food it includes a wine tasting and tour of the vineyard which represented pretty good value. Tour was very informative and incorporated elements of the history of wine in Mendoza, a practical element of methods used on the vineyard in relation to the grape vines along with the distillation methods.

Viamonte is a must in the Luján de Cuyo area. I visited twice because it was such a good experience, and the wine is amazing. I was greeted by Agustina with hugs and a big smile as she recognized me from the previous visit.

They offer a great tour in Spanish and English, and the wine tasting is fantastic. The setting is beautiful and comfortable, and they’ve created a space that is very social for friends, families and solo travellers to enjoy good wine and food.

We had a beautiful extended tour/tasting and lunch at Bodega Viamonte. Big big thanks to Jasmin for her delightful and informative tour and her generosity with her time (and hat) on a busy winters day. Wine was beautiful - big, refined and complex reds and the tasting was relaxed and not rushed. Lunch was delicious and generally we loved the whole thing. We whole heartedly would recommend you visit. Big thanks to the whole team at Bodega Viamonte but again big thanks to Jasmin: you will not regret a visit, just don't book anything after so you can laze the afternoon away with great wine, views and food.
