In May 2019, we met up with Eugenia for a tour of Akrotiri. She was very communicative from the time we booked to the time we met her there. She was an excellent guide - fun, knowledgable and super sweet!

Eugenia led us to Akrotiri and around the island in September 2019. She was truly an excellent guide - she was flexible, willing to take us to the places we were interested in, and always informative and interesting. Her family is from the island and she clearly has a great love for, and knowledge about, Santorini. Her driver also was excellent, patient, and flexible. He knew the roads of Santorini and could route us around traffic jams. Highly recommended.

Spending the afternoon with Eugenia was like having a cool friend show us her hometown. Eugenia (and driver Vaggelis) are super relatable, friendly and fun. Although we had limited time, Eugenia was able to let us briefly feel the soul behind the stunning views through interesting anecdotes and genuine enthusiasm. After sightseeing, we had a relaxed lunch together where she shared her knowledge of the delicious local food and wine. She even helped us navigate the airport for our departure. We will without hesitation eagerly recommend Vaggelis and Eugenia for any friends visiting Santorini.

Eugenia led our tour group of 6 people around Santorini for an afternoon to sunset tour. We went to Oia first and visited the famous places. She took us to a local winery at our request and we participated in a wine tasting and toured the winery. We walked on a black sand beach and viewed the caldera from many different places around the rim. We ended our tour at a village and climbed the steps to the top to watch a beautiful sunset. Eugenia gave us options and let us choose what and where we wanted to go. She was an excellent tour guide! She even gave us recommendations for places for dinner. We truly enjoyed our half with her. The tour was called Postcards from Santorini and it is was that and more.

We had booked a day trip to Santorini while we stayed a week in Sisi, Crete. The booking was done at one of the local agent shops near our hotel in Sisi. We were happy with the price of £125 each person, which was with a catamaran and only takes two hours as opposed to the normal ferry taking 4-5 hours one way. The trip on the ferry was enjoyable & relaxing. A nice couple of bar counters serving hot & cold food and drinks (payable of course). Once there, we were promised 3 stops of an hour & a half each. The first stop was Oia, Thera and the Black beach. The first stop which is Oia and known for the beautiful blue & white buildings, was only for 45 mins, this was no way enough because there were so many people and you had to wait for people to move to get a decent pic. The second stop was Thera, which is a shopping street type place with cafes/restaurants. The stop here was for 1.5 hours, but the people who wanted to go to the black beach could get on a coach after 45 mins and go to the beach, so we did that. The stop here at the beach, was only 20 mins.!! So not enough time to swim & change etc, so we managed a little paddling and feet wetting.! It’s a nice place to visit, but spend a whole day or two and not just a quick touch at each location.

I am sorry for your experience but PLEASE LEAVE THIS REVIEW IN THE PLACE WHERE YOU GOT YOUR EXCURSION FROM AND NOT HERE. This catamaran cruise has nothing to do with the tours I provide you definitely have not bought it through santoriniguide.gr Thank you
