Beautiful water in this splendid free beach. Entrance costs €5 per person, children up to 10 years old do not pay. There are some showers and changing cabins, as well as a very busy lunch bar.
In August parking is almost impossible: there is only one that fills up quickly or you have to park on the street.
The possibilities are: go early or late or by scooter/bike or bus. If you really want to go there by car in August, start doing propitiatory rites to find a scrap of parking.
Only free beach, if you don't have one you can rent an umbrella.

They are two beaches divided by a cliff, Saracen Bay is smaller, there is no refreshment point nor the possibility to rent umbrellas or sunbeds ... as for the bathrooms I do not know ...
The beach of malpassa is both free and you have the possibility to rent sunbeds and umbrellas (2 sunbeds and an umbrella 30 €). The umbrella must be mounted yourself but it is quite simple! There is both a dining area and bathrooms and changing rooms!
The beach is beautiful with crystal clear water! From what I could see there is not much difference between Saracen Bay and Malpasso beach, it depends on how you live your holiday...
There is private parking at a cost of 15€ per day!

A small paradise, a stone's throw from the Malpasso beach, another small paradise. If you come to Finale Ligure you have to spend at least one day here. Crystal clear water, plenty of space despite there being so many people and guaranteed relaxation. Recommended

There are no car parks because those geniuses in the municipality, to encourage tourism, rather than building car parks, prefer to fine those who park on the street side (which you will obviously be obliged to do). After the fine, my economic impact on the area will be zero. I wanted to eat in a restaurant tonight but out of spite I'm going home.

The poor overall rating is not due to the beauty of the sea and the bay. It looks like a corner of Corsica or Sardinia. Crystal clear sea. The problem is always the same: Paid parking with a cost of €15 for the day, I remember last year €12. But what is the price increase due to? to the war in Ukraine?. Another sore point is that access to the free beach bay is closed to disabled people and elderly people. I've been reporting this problem for years. It doesn't take long to build a final access bypassing the rocks. However, as a bay it remains a pearl.

Beautiful, well-kept beach but with a fee. Incredible that in Liguria everything has to be paid for, even access to free beaches. The municipalities should leave decent portions of free beach which the municipality of Varigotti does but this does not happen either in Finale or in Noli, let alone Alassio.

Yes, the beach is nice. BUT all the management of the beach and parking is horrible! 15 euros by car! And then you need to risk your life to cross the very busy road and walk on the side of that same road full with parked motorcycles so no space at all even to walk on the side! 20 euros for 2 to get an umbrella and 2 poor chairs (not even long chairs!). So 35 euros in total to go to that beach that's indeed nice but NOT exceptional at all. You also need to wait like 20 min to get a bottle of water at bar. Not worth it at all. Don't waste your time and money!

We usually search for the small beaches with few people and chill environment. This was on of them, but I must say I was a bit disappointed. Its kind of a rough beach and difficult getting into the water because of the rocks. Not highly recommended for children. It was a lot of wawes that day, so maybe it's better on a quiet day. We payed 15 euros to park. We preferred Malpaso beach.

We had planned to visit the beach in front of the old town in Varigotti but stopped here first by mistake. Thankfully our mistake turned out to be a wonderful one, as I think this beach is much better than the one in town.

The water at Baia dei Saraceni is warm and crystal clear. The beach itself could more accurately be described as grit rather than sand, though there is sand when you get out into the water. One end of the beach is rocky and offers a nice place to snorkel around in. There is a modest charge to get down to the beach. You can hire sun beds, chairs and an umbrella if you wish, but they are not compulsory.

There is a nice café/restaurant on the beach. The food is competent focusing on burgers and chips etc., although they do offer salads as well. Coffee and pastries are available for a lovely breakfast on the beach first thing in the morning.

If you fancy something really nice for lunch or dinner then the village of Varigotti is about 8 minutes walk away. The route into town is a busy road with no pedestrian pathway, so do think twice before setting out with kids. Once in the village there are a number of excellent restaurants and a great gellataria.

The Baia dei Saraceni is probably the best beach within a 30km radius. The waters are superb and because there is an area suitable for snorkelling there is something to keep all the kids interested. There is no diving platform on this beach.

IMPORTANT: this is a hugely popular beach and parking is a nightmare. There is *very* limited free parking on the main road, though there is a pay car park close by. The free parking fills up very quickly and you need to get there very early at the weekends or all the spaces will be taken up by the locals.

Beautiful beach, stunning backdrop. There are two areas, one free to the right (more rocky) and one paid to the left. The paid beach is more sandy and has a nice bar with sandwiches and drinks. The free beach has very good snorkelling just off the shore.
