The original 'torre de lago' - the tower on the lake - was developed into a home by the composer and is still much as it was when he died. See the piano on which he worked, the notes he wrote on his deathbed, and...More

We really enjoyed this but it's only the ground floor that's open and it all feels a bit run down. Having said that some of the artefacts on display were fascinating and if you're an opera buff a visit is a must.

Very nicely restaurated, and gathered a lot of Puccini belongings together. It is a very good way to have an insight picture about the life of this great composer.

So much Puccini memorabilia. It takes a while to absorb it. A great tribute to one of the world's greatest composers. It also shows how much his life interacted with other great musicians of his time. The Maestro, his wife, son and daughter-in-law, and now...More

We travelled to Torre del Lago by train, then walked for 20 minutes or so through the pretty suburbs to get to the lake, which in itself is inexpressibly dreamy and beautiful. It is easy to see why Puccini liked it. The house lets in...More

This museum inside Puccini’s home by the lake is in need of funding in order to make the entire structure open to the public and spruce up/restore some of the furnishings (aa original lampshade was in tatters from age—or a cat) but I still found...More

I don't believe it is, and would doubt it, as it is a working museum. However, it is a very small venue, so assuming your wedding was quite small, I don't see why you couldn't make special arrangements with the patron... More
