This is a wonderful place to visit. I was amazed by the variety and number of birds of prey, and delighted to find mammals and reptiles here too. The staff were lovely and clearly enjoyed being here.

The flying of the two owls and the black kites was fabulous. There are many different owls and other species here. A lovely morning.

As a special gift for my birthday friends brought the Owl and Falconry staff and their beautiful birds to visit me.
We spent an amazing afternoon with six owls and birds of prey, learning about their habitat, habits and generally getting to know them. We got to handle the birds and allow them to fly. Something truly wonderful, to be so close to such beauty. Even Ringo the vulture had a charm all his own.
The staff were knowledgeable and friendly and made the whole experience a special memory. Many thanks for travelling so far with your prized birds.

Although at the end of the season we were made very welcome. I personally was involved in flying a young Harris Hawk. A brilliant experience with Max and Oliver

Went on a windy day. Good thing though as the bigger birds were put on the flying display instead of the little ones as rain was forecast for the afternion. Up close and personal to the vulture and the eagle decided to get themselves a snack (baby rabbit) to eat. Took some persuasion to fly...as enjoying it too much... good day out for adults and children alike with a great falconer talking through the display.

Visited as a last minute indoor attraction
Due to inclement weather.
The three is that were flown indoors were excellent and the falconer imparted a lot of knowledge and gaining them fly mm above your head was exciting
Would recommend to anyone with even the slightest interest in the birds

Have visited a few times. The display is beautiful along with the talk. The local land is explorable with an old house etc on site. Great place.

Real shame about the weather, as this place has great potential for a dry day. Some lovely birds on display. There's also a farm with lots of animals, large play barn for children, free tractor rides, falconry display, beautiful grounds and a partly derelict stately home. Really lovely place. Weather was just shocking today, so we didn't stay long. Bonus of this was having our own private falconry display indoors, as no one else was there! We were able to be much more interactive. Really good morning. I'd happily go back, probably when it's not raining though.

I was a little dubious upon arrival as the aviarys and gift shop were a little underwhelming. However once we sat down for the displays I was immediately in awe. Close up with the birds who were stood on the bench next to us at one point. Fantastic passion and knowledge from the handlers and the cafe was really homely and reasonable in price. (Had to wait 25 minutes for food but we were on a day out so what the hey). Would recommend to anyone with kids, however I am not sure if it would be as good if it was raining or bad weather. We all loved it though as we had a cloudy but warm day.

A really excellent day out spent in knowledgeable company of the falconer and his team.
The flying displays are well put together and clearly demonstrate the characteristics of the different types of birds. The narration is very informative and I learnt new things even though I have been to several displays at different places over the years.

This place is less suitable for 5s and unders unless they can sit still and be quiet. Noise disturbs all sorts of birds so if your family does not have a particular interest in hawks, falcons, eagles and owls, then this isn't the place for you. Our tractor ride of part of the estate was spoilt because we could barely hear the commentary about the history of the deer park, because of noisy children.

The cafe is small but clean and tidy, inexpensive and the bacon baguettes excellent, and the family team running it very friendly.
