Great sandy beach for dogs

Our dog loved running about on the sandy beach. The tide was out, leaving lots of soft golden sand to enjoy.

This is a very special area. It comprises forested areas, parkland, beach, dunes, coastal cycle track and ski slope. You will not be bored here! The area is beautiful. It's dog-walking and cycling heaven. The area is huge and is never crowded. Highly recommended. A superb area. There are some visible remnants of the former WW2 Royal Ordnance Factory which... More

This area is ideal for parking and visiting the stunning beach. There are loads of parking areas everywhere and is very tidy, toilets are very clean.

Lovely beach. Lots to do. Costs £5 to get in but can keep you busy for a whole day. Beach has coastguards. Only negative was the lack of places to get food, ice cream etc. There is only once place and it lost it license.

Must see attraction and place to visit for local and tourists alike. I am obviously biased as I have been here thousands of times. Still go there of course. Anyone who visits south wales , I take to this place.

We walked along the coastal/cycle path to get here so did not have to pay the £5 charge. The beach is glorious and runs for miles. There are loads of car parks but sadly none of the cafe's are open. If you head towards the lifeguard hut and exit off the beach there is a kiosk selling tea/coffee/cans & ice... More

It's got a clean beach acres of forest and grass and a few ponds. The parks even the new one is basic. We have a season pass which isn't cheap and it's dog friendly but all you can really do here is walk or cycle. Seems like there's so much more that can be done. An awsome adventure playground or...
