Been coming here 40 years and love it as much as I did when I was a kid. Even the rope swing is still going. Once saw a sheep swim across the bay here!

Had a walk here today with the dog, it was stunning. Beautiful long sandy beach at the mouth of the river. Lots of fresh water burns for fresh water for the dog. Quite a few people there but easy to get away on your own....More

Great place to visit and a real feel if Scotland . The view of rum and eigg are fantastic . Has to be the cleanest beach I've walked along in a long time

There are a number of campsites along the stretch of coastline there. Where you turn off the main road at the bridge on the Mallaig end there is some roadside parking and access to the Sands, but a bit further along there... More

Yes, I'm sure that you could get a taxi from Mallaig it is only or six miles to Moray. Best to contact th Tourist information service for details.
