Really nice park
Feb 2020
A couple of large lakes here mean this is good for watching the wildfowl. There are good playgrounds for children as well as play equipment for the not-so-young. Avoid those though in the present wet weather unless you have your wellies on!

Lovely little park with something for all ages
Jul 2019
Charming little park with two ponds at different levels, a children's playground with a range of adult exercise machines next to it, another playground for young children in a separate area and in its own enclosed space and always wildlife to see, especially in and around the ponds. It is a pleasantly busy park ( in a good way) with parents and toddlers, dog walkers and also people(including wheelchair users) using it as a congenial cut-through. If you're in the area and have to while away some time, it is a very pleasant place to stroll through or have a rest. There are a large number of well-placed benches.

Just three slight downsides. You have to pay to park but at least you can usually find a space; it has toilets but you have to pay; and there is no refreshment kiosk or cafe.

As far as food is concerned though, opposite the park, across the street is the Oakmere cafe with probably the best coffee in Potters Bar, an extensive menu and friendly staff.

A small patch of peace in the commuter belt!

Well maintained area, with a lovely lake and plenty of benches. Favoured on the lovely summer's day we visited by lots of locals dining alfresco with picnic baskets...Oh how I remember those days, before the Ipad!
Worth a visit, but shame about the parking fees..particularly at weekends!

This is a nice park that has some ponds. You can go here to walk around in nature and enjoy the local wildlife. There is parking, though you have to pay.

Lovely well kept
Feb 2018 • Couples
This is a lovely well kept park. Own car park is pay and display but 30 minutes free parking across from the war memorial.
There is a public toilet (I think you need to pay) on the main road or toilets at the Harvester if you eat or drink there. Read my review before you do!
Lovely small children’s playground. Some adult fitness equipment too.
Two large ponds often see anglers there. Lots of ducks and geese. Lower pond can be a bit muddy with lots of geese poo!
There is a pétanque pitch but you need to be a member to play.
Duck food available at the pub.
We are very lucky to have such a well kept park nearby.
