We enjoyed a morning here and could have spent longer if not for scraped knees! We saw plentiful waterfowl, water skiers, a peaceful walk, a great playground and a walk along the canal looking at the longboats. Great place. Highly recommend, but parking can be...More

Lovely place for a walk with family and friends. Lots of birds to see including swans, canadian geece, herons etc. Childrens playground, boating and water skiing club. Sheltered walk in parts, plenty of free car parking. Toilet and eating facilities nearby.

This place is perfect for a picnic from young to old, and all in between. The beautiful nature reserve and walking route, great kids playground and free parking make this place fantastic for a budget day out for all the family.
