The course is wonderful, a real challenge and it is in immaculate condition. Dave in the Pro shop is a wonderful ambassador for the club and the pro shop is well stocked. Unfortunately the food service was very poor. It was lunchtime and the clubhouse wasn’t particularly busy. After waiting over 40 minutes for a light lunch to arrive we gave up and cancelled the order. I strongly recommend the course and the pro shop but I’d avoid the food service.

Played the course this week with a society booking.
The course was in excellent condition and great fun to play.
The second 9 is very hilly but the views were fantastic. Had a good meal after we had played served by friendly staff.

A lovely undulating parkland golf course in its Centenary year.We were really well looked after by Dave in the Pro Shop who slotted us in amongst a busy Friday for members. Food in the clubhouse before our round and the staff and members were really friendly, members we met on the course were really chatty too. Thanks for having us and good luck with your 100 year celebrations for 2022. We’ll be back !!

Golf clubs often receive a bad rap from our society for being backwards, elitist and sexist environments. Often, this is a very unfair and uninformed point of view based upon a number of anomalous clubs; I am afraid to say Lilleybrook Golf Club is one of these organisations and it does little to improve the standing of the game.
If you have a young family, forget this club. The members project an aura of superiority which intensifies tenfold should anybody in your party hit a poor shot or any other heinous crime! This is almost expected wherever you play, however, and is easy to deal with and dismiss with nothing more than a smile. Unfortunately the deep-rooted issues with this club go much, much further.
I have the unfortunate experience of witnessing several sexist comments about female golfers at the club and have encountered three instances of sexual harrassment whilst playing here. Sleazy comments, wolf-whistling: yes, this has actually happened. Can you believe that a sports club in the 21st century would accept such vile and pathetic behaviour from its male members of ALL ages? Well due to the verging on incestuous, old-boy mentality that permeates this place, any complaints were met with a cold, disinterested attitude which has NO place in golf and indeed our community.
Lilleybrook Golf Club is stuck firmly in the 1920s and will do anything to protect its white, middle-class population from the consequences of their actions.
For those of you who cannot be bothered to read this review then I don't blame you! But trust me when I say there are much better courses in the local area- Cotswold Hills and Minchinhampton (which has hosted Open qualifiers) to name just two. The final six holes of the course at Lilleybrook are virtually inaccessbile to anyone with a history of knee problems without a buggy (and there aren't many of those).
Good luck to all visiting golfers in the Cotswolds area! If I have failed to disuade you then I hope you do not see the side of this golf club that many of my friends and associates have witnessed.

Dear Mark S,
We were disturbed to read your post particularly given that we feel it is totally untrue and without foundation. Lilley Brook is a friendly club that has taken major steps to improve the course recently, with some success, and we are in no way stuck in the 1920’s, sexist or in any way simply white middle class nor ever have been. We have a very active ladies section which is growing strongly and they have never reported incidents of sexism or harassment to us.
We have tried to trace on our Tee Booking System, when a "Mark S” may have played at our course over the past couple of months, and can find no such name or society. In contrast to your review we have a number of societies that have played at our course over the past couple of months and all have been very complementary about the course and the friendly atmosphere.
To help us to investigate your review more fully, I would like to invite you to email us directly at secretary@lilleybrook.co.uk giving me the details of which date and at what time you played so that we can fully investigate your accusations.
We look forward to receiving your email.

This is an annual fun competition for golfers and non golfers adults and children.
A lovely way to introduce golf to children . This is the third time my husband has played with our grandson who loves it. Lots of different competitions and prizes.
The day ends with a fab bbq .
So lucky with the weather this year.
A big thank you to the lady's section who put a lot of hard work in making this an enjoyable event.
No prizes this year for Lennon but lots of pleasure.

It's been two years since I last played Lilley Brook but once again i was greeted with a warm welcome, all the staff couldn't have been more friendly . The course had improved since my last visit but the greens were of a good pace, and yet again the view from the 18th tee is one of the best around especially on a sunny day and the cold drink on the patio afterwards was more than welcome. I had bar food and compared to some clubs I've played this was very good and reasonable.

Played this coures on a lovely winters morning. It was very well maintained. Winter greens were looked after and the winter tees were not to bad. I m going to come back and play this course again in the summers to get the full benefit of this outstanding course.

I’ve visited today the golf course and I have to say that I was really impress.
All the course is really curated and easy to play in due to their wide fairways and great green.
I guess the green keeper has been working hard the whole winter.
To be highlighted is the difference between the first and the second nine providing to the player of a continuous challenge and incredible views over Cheltenham.

On a recent visit to Cheltenham my wife and I stopped off at Lilley Brook Golf Club after driving from Bath. It was a beautiful early afternoon and we went straight to the lounge for a light lunch. It was warm and welcoming with an excellent view of the 18th green. The staff, both at the bar bad restaurant were so friendly and professional and could not have been more helpful. Our food arrived promptly; it was delicious and represented excellent value. Our only regret was that we did not have time to play a round of golf. Hopefully some day we will return, play the course and then relax in such pleasant surroundings to round off what we would expect to be a perfect day.

So glad to see this course is still being kept so well. I always visit when re-visiting old haunts - this time with work colleagues! Precise greens and great for a handicap!

Hope to welcome you to our course soon.
