I was brought up in a village nearby and remember fondly the many afternoons we'd spend walking along the river bank when we were all little and then later with the dog. One of the few places you can really feel at peace!

i have the joy of living near this marsh it's beauty is vastly unappreciated, but the wildlife knows its worth. i love walking here to blow away the cobwebs and get back to enjoying the simplicity and beauty of nature
