Went along after a visit to contactus house. Was not overly impressed. No where to park and no toilet or refreshments. There where two rooms to see and nothing much else

It's not the easiest place to find, so the best advice is to head for the Church and you'll find it on the opposite of the road. Some free road side parking is available nearby varying between 30 and 60 minutes. You visit will be...More

Fantastic historic building with loads of history, the custodian bring the place alive with his flowing dialogue. Some amazing finds - painted plasterwork in the upstairs Chamber. Gardens are pretty too. No parking, refreshment or toilets here as its a private residence so not always...More

An amazing 13th century mural in its original state. Outstanding guiding by volunteer stewards. A very atmospheric site.

We were so envious of the couple who live in one side of the house, and pop out to tell visitors about the history of it! A lovely way to spend half an hour or so.

This is a national trust property very close to my home. I had no idea how important a building it is. The volunteers were superbly informative and it made for an interesting hour, but that is all. This is a very small property and probably...More
