I visited Hamerton today with three other adults and my 2 year-old grandaughter. The weather wasn't brilliant, but the nice thing about Hamerton is that most of the walkways are under cover, so even if it had rained it wouldn't have mattered. We enjoyed seeing...More

We've visited a few times and have always had a lovely, interesting day. The park has many animals that I've never seen before, and quite a few I've never even heard of! It's easily accessible all the way round for pushchairs and toddlers walking, although...More

Very well maintained and seems to keep expanding since the last time we've been here. Worth the £13 and coming back :)

We looked at website and decided to stop here on way home from Southend on sea as we are especially big cat lovers. Unfortunately, it appears the website is out of date as one of the tiger enclosures was empty and waiting development. There are...More

Don't be put off by recent bad press. Thus place is a little gem. Bit too busy reasonably priced with great play areas for kids. Very sad situation for them recently so they need all the support they can get

The park itself was fab, lots of informative signs about each of the animals and lots of great space for the animals compared to other zoo parks. The restaurant desperately needs a good clean. Although they may clean the floor and tables there were dead...More

The whole Park is served by flat wide tarmac paths and roadways. Otherwise the site is laid to lawn.which is level and so very slightly sloping you would not notice. Car parks are grass and gravel.
