About
The 8 acres of garden are formed around a 100 metre long double mixed border backed with clipped Yew hedges and columnar Oak trees. From the border run two grass avenues lined with clipped hedges. Hanging from this structure are a variety of large and small contemporary and traditional gardens designed and built by students of Hadlow College. Throughout the gardens there is an extensive range of unusual plants and collections, in addition to more familiar plants used in unconventional ways.

Small but beautiful (It is open despite what Tripadvisor says)
Nov 2020
Small gardens next to Hadlow Collage with a Garden Centre next door. Very very picturesque and beautiful, especially in the autumn sun. Some ponds dotted around (its quite muddy so would recommend wellies). I don't think you could spend hours here as it is quite small. It's free to go too. It is open too despite what Tripadvisor says.

Beautiful place to visit
Dec 2019
Love it here, gardens stunning, tearoom homemade food. Staff friendly and there plenty to see and buy in shop, gifts, cards, prezzies. Great nursery and gardens. Great day out with family and friends or on your own for peace and respite.

Enjoyable
Sep 2019
The gardens are expansive and really lovely. I enjoyed walking around in all the different areas and admiring the hard work of the gardeners. In September not too much was still in bloom; in the high summer I am sure it is beautiful.

Tea room, bad attitude to loyal customers
Oct 2019
I took my Mum to this tea room, indeed we have been many times before and always enjoyed it after a walk around the garden centre and gardens but was appalled at the attitude of one of the staff when my Mum found a long black hair embedded in her fruit scone .. there was no apology, no offer of a new scone, no offer of a refund or a discount for our next visit and it was treated as a joke when the lady we spoke to pointed at her blonde hair and stated well, it's not one of mine and went off chuckling! We will not bother to return!

Thank you for your feedback, and we're sorry for the poor experience that you had. We do set high standards for both food hygiene and customer service and it is disappointing that we didn't meet the standard this time.

Very good tea room
Jul 2019
We only first visited these gardens and tea room for the first time in July and have been back numerous times since as the tea room is such a lovely place to go.The gardens are nice to walk around, some parts a lot nicer than others but for being free, it's nice for a wander. The prices in the tea room are really good for what you get and the staff are polite and friendly too. We've had two eggs & chips, welsh rarebit with bacon and egg, ham,egg &chips and savoury & sweet scones. The savoury cream tea is so good and consists of a large homemade cheese, bacon & chive scone, butter, fig & ale chutney with pot of tea or an americano coffee for £3.95, excellent price for such lovely food. The hot menu is mainly said food above, sandwiches, toasted sandwiches and they also have soup, daily specials, jacket pots and afternoon tea. Double egg, chips and salad is a favourite of mine (£5.50) and although I've not tried the welsh rarebit myself, others I've been with have really enjoyed it. I'm not sure how many cooks they have but sometimes the food has been served differently and when my mother and daughter had the welsh rarebit it came with slaw(as described) but when my partner had it it didn't. I would've said something if it were mine but he said he didn't mind not having it so didn't bother. The actual room itself has plenty of comfortable seating and there is a lovely outside eating area with a small play area for children. We always look forward to visiting broadview and would recommend it to anyone.
