Brilliant day , very good value . Handlers were extremely knowledgeable, real family atmosphere, all staff volunteers were friendly and obviously passionate about the care of the birds. Beautiful birds clearly looked after and cared for with expertise and real enthusiasm. Fabulous displays and everyone who wanted to had the opportunity to have the birds land on the gauntlet on their hand. My husband had a hawk walk and thoroughly enjoyed the experience . Thanks to all the staff for a fantastic day.

What a wonderful gem of a centre. The staff were very informative and are clearly passionate about the welfare of the birds. The flying shows were great and you were able to hold a wide variety of birds, inc a Golden Eagle, compared to other similar centres. Very worth visiting

I organised a group photography event at the York Bird of Prey Centre and they staff and volunteers were amazing! The communication with the centre before the event was easy and we were made to feel very welcome when we arrived. We were looked after by a volunteer called Kevin who was wonderful! Kevin's respect, love and devotion for the birds was evident, and he was incredibly knowledgeable. He was really friendly and helpful, as were all the staff/volunteers that I encountered. It's clear that the birds are very well looked after and have a fantastic life. Thank you for such a wonderful day!

Went here as part of present with afternoon tea at burn hotel. We arrived just in time for the show which was brilliant and involved anyone who wished to participateand lasted over an hour. Plenty of raptors to see in their lofts. Overall an excellent experience for all the family.

We visited as we had free tickets whilst staying at Burn Hall Hotel. Was a really interesting couple of hours. Learned lots from the talks and got to hold a barn owl and a kookaburra. AS it was free entrance they just ask for a donation, well worth a visit.
