Sad Neglect!
Jul 2020 • Couples
Wonderful Victorian architecture and a priceless local treasure. So sad to see it neglected by an uncaring council that allowed the Mother Town of the Potteries to die and which highlights their lack of priorities.

Stunning Victoria Architecture
Oct 2018 • Friends
It's well worth visiting Burslem Town Centre. The few compact streets are surrounded by most beautiful examples of Victorian Era Architecture - starting with the Wedgwood Institute. If you are an historical architecture lover - spend a couple of hours wondering through the main streets of Burslem, pop around one of the square for a view of the 3 Sisters Bottle Kilns, which tops are visible from the hill, and then pop into a Agie & Katie's restaurant on St John's Square.

Wonderful

This is by far the single most spectacular building in Stoke-on-Trent in terms of its architecture....the frescoes on the outside of the building are in need of restoration but in general the building is truly wonderful

Superb

The sumptuous architecture of this building is off the scale. For a side street the detail of the mosaics, sculptures and decoration is incredible- could fit in Centre of London where it would be celebrated as the marvellous work it is.
This is ONE OF THE STAR BUILDINGS OF THE POTTERIES.

Helpfully provides with information board outside.

A wonderful piece of Architecture!

Such a wonderful building, steeped with history in the Mother Town of the Potteries.
Although the building is only open on event days there is no shortage of architecture for you to see so please bring your camera!
