We visited Packwood recently with one of our grandchildren and had a wonderful experience. Yes, it helps being a sunny morning, but the grounds at Packwood are wonderful, whatever the weather. There are plenty of options of where to walk and once the weather improves,...More

Beautifully restored and a gem of a country house owned and loved by Baron Ash who restored it to what he imagined a Tudor house would have been like, but with a 1920s twist. Don't miss it!

Thank you for your feedback. Parts of the garden do have to close during some of our wetter weather in order to keep preserving our Grade II listed grounds, We look forward to your return visit in the summer! Many thanks.

Nice house, with plenty of "interior" to enjoy and understand. Staff on hand in the rooms were excellent and informative without being patronising. We enjoyed the visit. The coffee shop was good too, with comfortable seating areas. As so often at National Trust places, the...More

Thank you for your feedback. The timed ticket entry to the house is in place for conservation purposes as well as visitor enjoyment to spread the flow of visitors and protect the floors. We have tried to make the site as accessible as possible and...More

The staff, café, gardens and surroundings of Packwood all contribute to a great experience, but it's the house that leaves the abiding memory. To really enjoy Packwood, you need to go when it's not too busy and you have time to talk to the room...More
