We popped to the village today and ended up coming to the station to take a quick look at the platform. Sadly the station was closed, as was the cafe. Not clear why, but we at least got a couple of pictures to show for our efforts. A shame as we had family with us from down south who wanted to see the station and hopefully the trains. Never mind...another time!

Been here a couple of times during our visit to the area and today we were treated to the steam train in the station. The train driver was more than happy to have a chat and was very friendly. Well worth a visit just check the train times. Recommend

Lovely place and you get a very Heartbeat feel! The Car park was expensive because you can only buy an all day ticket but we donated it to a guy that had just arrived. Worth a visit!

Station featured in Heartbeat. Looks just like it does in the series. Great to see a traditional old station due to Covid restrictions we were unable to gain access onto the platform and into the waiting room etc which was a bit of a disappointment but understandable. What made it even better was watching the steam train arrive at the station on its way through to Whitby.
