So disappointed. We booked the half day rafting, went to the cafe to wait and time ticked on. No contact from the company. Eventually we spoke to a worker in the cafe who contacted the company to be told they didn't have a record of our booking and we wouldn't be able to do it. Received an email from the company asking if we wanted to do the day after but we couldn't due to leaving. Avoid this company, they ruined our afternoon.

Unfortunately we have to write a negative review. When we contacted them that we would like to make E-bike tour with 6 persons. After our visit to their office we didn't receive the information which us was promised. After an request via their website we also didn't get any response. When I want again to their office I managed with a lot of effort to get an confirmed reservation for our E-bike trip. Next day at the start point where we could collect the E-bike + GPS device the bikes weren't prepared and also the GPS device was not prepared. After many question we finally got the E-bikes + GPS Device. For the GPS device we didn't get a good instruction + they gave us the set-up for the wrong tour. Suddenly all the people of Durmitor Adventure were gone we were left without any good instruction + right installed GPS device. When we went back to their office there was again a girl which doesn't know anything and only can say 'I have to call'. Finally we got Boris on the phone and he told us that we have to download a trail on our mobile phone. But our mobile phones aren't working with the Montenegro network. When I told him that this is strange because for this reason I asked to get an GPS device fromm them, he told me that he didn't like my attitude. We think it is completely unresponsable to sent people away in the Durmitor National Park without a good trip description, but also unprofessional when people at the office are only young girls which are not good instructed and can't solve any unexpected situation. After one hour we brought back the bikes + GPS device to their unattended starting point. I was a waist of time to deal with this unprofessional organisation.

The trip was very well organized, It started with a good carride to the canyon, the fitting of proper gear. There was good help in the canyon if needed from the guides.
Before the trip out of the canyon there were sweets en water to prepare us for the walk out. Great lunch. It was a day very well spent in a beautiful surrounding.

We booked a full day rafting tour on the Tara River. It was an amazing experience. Ilija is very skilful skipper and made a tour good fun. Half way through the tour the rest of the group left as they only booked half day and only me, my husband and Ilija continued the tour. It felt like we had the whole canyon for ourselves! A great day out and worth it!

This is real Adrenalin adventure. A 3.2km “walk/scramble/swim/jump” through a stunning gorge hosted by guides who were professional, supportive and safety conscious and good quality equipment, however this is not one for the faint hearted and requires a reasonable level of fitness, particularly for the 45 min hike back up the gorge at the end. That said I am 54 yo mum with adventurous spirit and loved every second of it along with my 19 yo son. Wouldn’t hesitate to do this again and highly recommend to anyone that is reasonably physically confident.
We stopped at a nearby restaurant for lunch afterwards and the food was excellent. It also looked like they had really lovely accommodation in little individual mountain chalets if you wanted somewhere to stay locally.

After a great canyoning experience with Durmitor Adventures, we did also the rafting with them.
This time it was not so well organized and not clearly explained details. Rafting itself was rather boat swimming down the river with few brakes to swim and jump to the water. Less then 2 hours all together. The good thing was probably the best view on the Tara River Bridge.

Boris and his team run a wonderful canyoning adventure in the Nevidio canyon. Great day out, wonderful environment. Good equipment and instructors were top class. Always there to help out and go out of their way to make you have fun and succeed.

We did canyoning and it was one of the most amazing outdoor activity I ever did. If you hesitate about the price, please don't. It's worth it a million times. Landscapes are sick ! you go in a very beautiful canyon, some parts are narrow and so fun. And the sensations are just incredible. There are a lot of jumps (around 10). The guides are really nice. Giving accurate advice, but letting you enjoy. The lunch at the end is a very nice moment of sharing and discussion.
Durmitor Adventure is really an organisation to support. These people are passionnate and make nature and outdoor activities fun, accessible, and more popular.

Let down by poor communication- prior email weeks before to book was responded to quickly with ‘contact us 2-3 days before’. This we did by WhatsApp and were told to turn up 25km drive away at 9:30am the next day. On arrival they hadn’t heard of us and had no availability on rafting tours that day. Very disappointed. Fortunately there was another rafting company at the location who could take us. They intimated that being let down by Durmitor Adventures was “as usual” :(

Dear Sunny , we are very sorry for the inconviniance you have experienced, but defaulf rafting tours are half-day tours. Half day rafting is also what you have booked and we just forwarded that to the rafting company. Full day tour must be explicitely asked for and booked in advance. That is the reason why rafting company told you that there is no place, because they expected people for half-day.
Anyhow, you could text me about the problem at the moment when it had happened, we respond very quickly to messages, as you could see yourself in our prior communication.
Regarding comment that you got for Durmitor Adventure "as usual", it is obvious that it's not relevant at all, which our other reviews can confirm. Since the comment came from other agency, it just shows that mentioned agency gains points on other's mistakes and not on their own effort and value.
Once again, we are sorry that you had bad exeprience, but communication should have been exact from your side, as well. Best regards, Durmitor Adventure team
