Water sports offered here are good and the prices are reasonable. But it is little crowded for a beach to spend time and relax.

If you are a non-Malaysian tourist; this is a place that you need to visit - either stay in the motels/hotels/inns or just come to enjoy shopping there.

Nice beach for a sunset walk and chill. It gets quite crowded from time to time, especially the areas close to the main road.

The beach is 2km from end to end. You can sit anywhere, Meritus has a great view. They're not fickle in that they'd bother you for a room number or ask you to order something.

A lot of building works around this area. The road is always jam. Most of the shops sell fake items. Lots of restaurant along the road.

Yes. Also if you go to the yellow cafe they have bean bags on the beach with small tables. Perfect to sit and relax while the sun sets while you have a refreshing beverage at the end of the day.
