We visited yesterday. A Malay lady explained the Batik process to us from beginning to end. She was very amusing and had a dry sense of humour. We both liked some of the batiks on display inside; some were very strong artistically; I particularly liked a large Batik of three hornbills. We bought one that we both liked which had a dark red background and featured a twisting plant and butterflies. They sell many different kinds of useable Batik products: dresses etc. Also pottery It was unfortunately that one is not allowed to take photos or make videos of any aspect of the process or the batiks.

The artists are at work in the adjoining factory creating master pieces, where every creation is unique and different from the other.Batik sarong and maxi dresses are popular with the tourists.

They sell clothes and paintings with a large variety. Just ask to see the paintings, they are inside the building. The owner is the artist.
