It's indeed a peaceful place.
As always temples are amazing! It was just too hot, whatever time of the day you go there will be very very hot, but we've still enjoyed it.
Managed to arrange one van rental for our tour.

It is rather new, with construction still going on. We went in the morning, and there are no tourist around, maybe the place is not-so-popular yet. We took about 40mins, to go around praying and taking pictures of the nice surrounding and the carved Kuan Yin status on the rock. It is worth visiting, when you are at Langkawi.

You will need a car or taxi to arrive here. Fairly interesting temple and provides some good photography.

You need GPS to reach here, but once you reach here, this place absorbs you in its beauty, colors, architecture and silence. The statue carved out of the mountain is the real attraction, paired with colorful Buddha statues outside and inside the temple. We had the opportunity to see a Buddhist monk too who blessed us with a blue thread on our wrist and wished us Good luck. We were there only for about an hour, wanted to be there for more time, but we had just 2 days for Langkawi, so had to quickly move on. You will definitely enjoy your stay here!

This Buddhist temple complex isn't signposted extensively on the Jalan Ayer Hangat, the road which runs from Kampung Padang Lalang in the north east of Langkawi, into Kuah. Some kilometers befor reaching Kua there is a small road to the left with an even smaller sign pointing to the Wat Koh Wanararm Temple. This temple complex was opened on May 22nd, 2014, attended by monks from many Asian countries. That the complex is new, is proven that still building activities are going on. But the temple complex is worth visiting with gardens, small temples and a field with stupas, beside the bigger temple buildings and the large central statue in the rocks. This temple complex is worth visiting; we met locals only, who came to say their prayers. It is off the beaten track and not a stop in tourist guided tours. To be recommended.

A quiet and peaceful place, we went there during early afternoon, there were just 2 people, very very few monks. The temple and the whole complex is just ok!

Thai abbot and Thai architecture but construction mostly funded by locals of Chinese descent. So, there are also places to worship Chinese deities as well as the snake god (Hindu?). In short, plenty of options for you to pray for good luck and eternal blessings.
Very quiet and low key as a Buddhist temple should be.

The highest respected monk second temple at Langkawi. There are few statues here to memories Long Phor Koon where the origin temple at Thailand (Wat Banrai, Korat). The main hall is still under construction with progressing of donation. Quite and peaceful place.. You can offering and get blessing by the monk here.

Highly recommended to visit here not far from the center of langkawi.

Peaceful Buddhist Temples with monks chanting for good lucks. Beside temple there is a huge Kuan Yin limestone caving. And a small fish pond and some stupa for prayers.

We hired a taxi who was courteous and helpful and took us to many places, including this that we would not have considered.
A 15 minutes stay is all you will need.
