its accessible from walayar checkpost. a small dam situated interior. i visited with my friends and couldnt see anyone there as visitors. no shops, no hotels, nothing.

while we went to walayar dam, that place seems to be feared, no much people are there, no food near that area. only local people are visible

The Walayar dam is constructed across Kalathipuzha river for irrigation purposes and the reservoir is spread over a vast area. The green forest on both sides of the reservoir is beautiful and a good picnic spot. During rainy season the reservoir was almost full and...More
