Well maintained temple with Shiva as the presiding deity. Other shrines of Kasi Visalakshi, Ganpathy, Etc are also located inside the premises. The temple is about 3 kms from the main market area and 2 kms from Rly station. Plenty of autos is available.

Having heard of the renowned kalpathy radholsavam and moreover being in Palakkad for the time being, always wished to pay a visit to this Heritage Village. Made it to the kalpathy temple and it's premises with a colleague Sarun.V. Got a glimpse of the preparations of the upcoming chariot procession on 14-16, Nov,2016. The 3 chariots were also sighted.

One of the famous temples of Palakkad and said to be the Kashi (Beneras) of South. A temple situated in the typical agraharams of Palakkad, traditional in nature and rich in culture. A temple one must visit if he happens to pass Palakkad.
