This place is part of amer fort and no need to pay again. It was not possible to visit inside the building. Walls and ceiling of It has been designed by small pieces of mirror (sheesh) to provide shapes. Because of difference edge of mirror installation, it is shining in lights.

one of the key attractions in Amber fort, Sheesh Mahal cannot be missed. They have stopped people from entering it. However it still makes for a beautiful site.

The use of mirrors and silver to create light in the royal apartments is fantastic. The workmanship is superb and a tribute to the skills and knowledge of yesteryear. Go, enjoy and marvel.

I have never anything so beautiful! This is the Sheesh Mahal or the Darbar -e- Aam of the Amer Fort, which is so delicately painted and covered with a myriad of tiny mirrors. Heaven only knows how much painstaking work went into this place. Even today restorations are done to ensure the Sheesh Mahal looks like it used to in... More

Sheesh Mahal is a famous hall of mirrors situated inside in the Third courtyard of Amber Palace. An integral part of the Jai Mandir, it has been uniquely constructed by decorating the ceilings and walls of the hall with mirrors, which reflect light rays. This reflection in turn lights up the entire hall inside the Jai Mandir. The building to... More
