This is must see attraction of Jaipur trip . you can enjoy/use elephant ride to reach to main fort . advice to use guide to understand forts and its history ... in eve there is light and sound show which is also must see attraction .

It was our first time to visit Jaipur ( Pink City) Our travel agent and tour guide taken us there. It was really worth to visit there and can easily understand of history of Amber fort. I have little known by hindi TV as well.Really wonderful to visit there.

Amber Fort is located in outskirts of Jaipur city It once used to be the capital and now a symbol of royalty. Its name Amber is based on Godess and at the top of the fort you can see the temple. Worthy of a visit, the Amber Fort and the surrounding attractions are definitely one of the most interesting historic sites that you can see. We strolled around without a guide and hence could take the pace that suited us. Fort is good and very huge excellent fort but government is not maintenance nothing live in the fort like in nahargarh fort is live because of jaipur Wax Museum and royal darbaar and fantastic sheesh mahal well maintained

Amer fort is a beautiful fort in the old capital. It consist of several parts built during different era's. Only the maintanance for many areas is very poor. Such a shame!

This fort is lovely! However it is tiring to walk around the fort as it is located on a hilly terrain. So people do carry a bottle of water and make sure you have someone with you. Blown away by the artistry of everything in this fort. The colors, designs, details, massiveness of it all is just awe-inspiring. Definitely spend half a day here to enjoy it.
