Had a wonderful visit of the Amber fort , popularly called as the Amer fort there ... It's one mega fort and we'll kept too... Lotta bollywood movies like Jodha Akbar etc have been filmed here ... The route and parling is a challenge though...More

You actually have access to palace rather than the fort(which is used by army).

Not sure few weeks is recommended. There's a lot of historical spots to explore in Jaipur, but I dont this it is suitable for relaxing. For relaxing, Udaipur is better and if you can afford it, try stay at any hotels (uses to be palaces) facing the Picchola Lake, or the Taj Hotel on the lake itself.
