My family and I were staying at Seaview Cottage in St Dogmaels and fancied doing something different on holiday, and we were recommended Crosswell Riding Stables. We are all relative beginners and my sons age 18 & 20 yrs had never even sat on a horse ! We had a beautiful, gentle ride through woodland and for the five of us, there were three guides with us, so we felt completely safe at all times. We were out riding for just over an hour but I believe this is very flexible to suit individuals. The riding was excellent value for money, very well organised and the ladies riding as out guides were very reassuring. I would highly recommend this trip and also our stay at Seaview Cottage. …

Was on holiday in the area for just a week and my 12 year old daughter went for two 2 hour hacks in the week. She enjoyed them both immensely. Great value, the horses are clearly well looked after and the staff are all super-friendly and helpful. The hacks themselves were both different, over varied terrain. One was just herself and lead rider (Amber?). Despite being caught out under a tremendous thunderstorm and downpour, she felt safe on the pony (Pie or Pye?) and loved it. The second she rode Tiggy and this time with a group of “older ladies” who despite the age gap and them knowing each other they made my daughter feel very welcome. She particularly enjoyed cantering! A real big shame is that we don’t live in the area as we would be regulars. Thoroughly recommend Crosswell Riding Stables to anyone...…

An excellent hour-long pony trek for 4 of us - 2 riders, one lapsed rider and one non-rider. Enjoyed a walk and trot up into the Preseli Hills. Horses were lovely to ride. Our non-rider was well looked after and really enjoyed the experience. All staff were really friendly. Really good value for money. Overall a wonderful trip and highly recommended to anyone looking for a ride.…

We were booked in for a half hour lesson followed by 1.5 hour ride through the woods but sadly due to the weather it had to be cancelled. Carolyn was fab at rearranging and doing her best given our time frame so we had a half hour lesson then half hour ride a day or so later. It was utterly fabulous, friendly staff and amazing horses. The time was thoroughly enjoyed and was good value. Highly recommend and if we lived closer we would definitely visit more often. …
