Great views and nice village of Stoos with relatively cheap price. Unfortunately couldn't reach peak as wind was too strong. Nice experience anyway.

Visited in September on Sunday, I wanted to come on Monday to avoid the mass of tourists but the weather has changed my plans. Parking a bit distant but free with shuttle service. There was a lot of people waiting for the funicular, but having bought the tickets online I could skip the line. The funicular is very particular and comfortable with nice view and above all fast. Stoos is perfect for trecking, a small lake behind the village has space for grills and picnics.

BThis goes up a very steep mountain and you remain horizontal the whole way. Quite an interesting experience. When we got to the top we wandered a little, bought a cheap coffee and I looked at the shopping they had in this little place. y sharing your experiences, you're helping travellers make better choices and plan their dream trips. Thank you!

Visiting friends who live near Zug and I was keen to go up a mountain and experience snow! I couldn’t have been happier, first a trip up the mountainside on the worlds steepest vehicular railway to the village of Stoos, where I discovered they had had significant new snow fall so the scenery was stunning. Then going on up in a chair lift (x2) to the very top where the views were just breathtaking. Wonderful lunch at the restaurant at the top and then a short walk along the top to enjoy the 360 degree view of the surrounding landscape including lake Lucerne and the Mythen They have clearly thought of both winter and summer visitors as along with the obvious skiing and also air boarding (tobogganing down the hillside on basically a lilo!,) there was a children’s play park and well signed walking routes (neither of which were accessible when I visited due to the previous heavy snowfall!) I was blown away by the awesomeness of it all and the ease of which to be able to get to enjoy this (especially as wasn’t there to ski)

I  had been to Stoos over last weekend with family. It's amazing experience, surrounded by beautiful lakes. Mind blowing funicular rail experience to top of mountain. Skiing lovers enjoy a lot. Full of snow in February 2019. Must visit place.
