A loop path that immerses you in beauty. We went up by cable car and walked clockwise. After a steep asphalt section, the difficulties become minimal and, proceeding quietly, you begin to enjoy the magnificent views of Castelrotto and Ortisei, Sasso Lungo and Sasso Piatto, Catinaccio and Sciliar. And then artistically carved wooden benches, witches' seats, mountain huts with tasty culinary proposals, viewpoints, installations for nice photo shoots. You wouldn't want to go down to the valley anymore!

Fascinated by a magical place, wonderful views, excellent cuisine in all the refuges, the courtesy of the locals (even the farmer you pass on the tractor greets you). Prices a little exaggerated in some places, €90 for two to go up from Ortisei to Seceda, plus €13 parking!!! The price in Val di Siusi is much better (about half and free parking). Also won over by the cleanliness and hospitality of the places.

Of all the excursions it was perhaps the most fascinating of all because it is also suitable for non-super experts. You meet animals on the path and also some installations. The views are breathtaking and the uncertain weather has made everything even more magical. If you are in the area it is the most important excursion to do without ifs or buts. Breathless I look out over Ortisei.

Personally I am in love with the Alpe di Siusi and Sciliar plateau. By various means starting from Siusi, eggs, walking and other eggs you arrive in Bullaccia. Wonderful in winter for the ski slopes, wonderful in summer for walks, it seems to touch the Sciliar that stands before you. The refuge is always the same, typical South Tyrolean dishes, great choice, excellent quality, mega portions. The staff is always friendly and they are also fast. You can also get there on foot following the paths and move with the chairlifts for other routes to discover. We are in South Tyrol here everything is perfect!

This hike is often listed as a family hike, but it has some difficult portions and much of it take you along the edge of cliffs. It is very beautiful, though. I would also leave more than the claimed time (it took us longer).

If you have an opportunity to do this hike, don't hesitate. It is not very challenging and is certainly one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. You take a cable car up to the top and then a short walk to the ring hike. The mountains are unbelievable.

Take water, snacks, camera and a way to pay at a hut restaurant for a good meal, or at least for fries and a beer!

It's a 2-3 hours walk up at 2000metres, quite easy, with lots of distant views, best of Scilliar and Sassolungo, which are magnificent mountains. You can also see Val Gardena down and watch the cattle quietly moving around on the pastures. Needless, to add, you can make great photos. And the Arnika chalet is fine for refreshments or meals and drinks.

Easy, crowded and not particularly rewarding trail. There are many great trails to choose from, so do not stop at this one.
