Sun, ski and panorama

Smooth slopes with spectacular views. Plenty to ski for a day without worry to run a slope twice if wanted. Surprisingly easy slopes for red. A benefit of not having many people. Unique mountain views to enjoy on top!

What should I said, if you are a nature lover this is the place to visit, with good hiking paths all around, and exquisite traditional food. You do not need an expensive camera to have amazing pictures.

Beauty everywhere

Ride the gondola or drive up the windy road. What awaits is the largest Alpine plateau in Europe. Fabulous views every direction. Numerous hiking trails spread out across the plateau. Bike rentals, lodging and restaurants as well at the top. An area of lovely meadows and stunning mountains.

An incredible surprise...
Oct 2018 • Family
We are staying in Siusi and waited out a few rainy days before taking the gondola up to Alpe di Siusi today (30 October 2018). In the town it was a clear day with blue skies - midway up the mountain we saw beautiful autumn colours with a backdrop of blue sky and green mountains. A little further up on the gondola there was a light snow dusting on the pine trees. To our incredible surprise, when we arrived at the top gondola station everything was completely covered in snow! The snow continued to fall throughout the day, our plans changed from hiking to building snowmen. One of the few truly unexpected surprises I have ever experienced. We returned to the blue skies and warm weather in Siusi in complete awe of the change in weather at altitude. An absolutely unforgettable day.
(PS The scenery is breathtaking, there's a lovely restaurant at the top station and gondolas are great, only 17 euro return per adult and our kids aged 4 and 8 years travelled for free.)

Super beautiful
Sep 2018 • Couples
Been here in early September. The landscape of the Seiser Alm is super beautiful, offers amazing views and the whole infrastructure is very well developed. Leasure options for everybody and all levels of difficulty. For very good reason this area is recognized as UNESCO world heritage. Must go when in south tyrol.

You will not be disappointed. The lifts were first class and even on busy days we never waited for more than 15 minutes.

Slopes

The slopes are very good for familys and not so advanced skiers. There is also a park - which they had made real big for the FIS event.

Beautiful area to ski, walk and sledge
Feb 2018 • Family
We spent a day on the Seiser Alm as part of our week skiing in Selva / Sella Ronda. We could have happily spent more time here as it is so beautiful. This area (the largest high-altitude Alpine meadow in Europe) offers all winter sports not just downhill skiing. There are plenty of cross-country tracks, snow-shoe walks, toboggan runs and a horse drawn sleigh. There are some nice mountain huts for food and although we have only seen it in winter am sure it would make a wonderful place for mountain biking or walking in the summer.

Many ways of spending time in the mountains. Great for intermediate level skiers.
Feb 2018 • Family
We spent there a wonderful week with our children. The variety of ski piste will suit almost everyone, but most of them will be best appreciated by beginner to intermediate skiers. Easy to choose some for children of different age. Also older skiers (60+) were frequently seen. The ski runs were very well prepared, as you would expect. There were special attractions: self-timers, speed-traps and big snow-park for freestyle enthusiasts.
But this area is not only for downhill skiing! There are plenty of routes marked for walking, snow-shoe hiking, and of course Nordic cross-country skiing. Everything was well marked and organized. For example, you can rent a locker in a ski depot and leave all your gear at the upper station of cable lift (Seiseralm cable-car).
Besides all activity opportunities, the views were marvelous!
I can strongly recommend it for spending winter holidays with the whole family.
