If you have a spare evening on your hands do yourself a favour and pop into Hough's. Especially on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Totally unique with an amazing mix of people all of which are very welcoming and ready for the madness! Great music in a great setting, it's all very tight and atmospheric but all the better for... If you find yourself in Banagher some evening do yourself a favour and drop into Houghs to check out the scene. Decent Guinness and madness that has to be seen to be believed. A great spot for a night out..

I'd heard many stories about this place before finally getting to visit it. It has to be one of the most fun, eclectic, bizarre, off the wall, crazy places. Coming into the red lit pub from outside was a bit surreal until my eyes got used to it and then the fun really began. Words can't do it justice so... More

We were advised to have a look in here by the B & B lady where we were staying. We were there when the music started. Ireland, as far as I could see, has no real ale. There the beers are all kegged, and Guinness reigns supreme. The local Bo Bristle beer had also run out. Just after the music... More

This was a lovely pub - we all had a sing song and then there was a funny little film about a mouse that thinks it's a cook and he has his own puppet who he makes cook pasta by pulling his hair.

It's a great pub in a really nice town in Co. Offaly. Don't miss when Ms. Teresa Mann is playing the piano.
