Beautiful clean beach, but crowded, no wc/showers
After a few days of visiting different Calas in Mallorca it's clear to me that I have to get used to this crowd. I knew Mallorca was a popular tourist destination, but in the year of COVID I did not expect it to be this crowded. But it is. Nevertheless, Mesquida was a better choice than some of the smaller souther calas where we had to wait for people to leave in order to have a place for our towel. This one was less crowded (but still quite packed!) No toilets, no showers (in some 2020 review it was written there were showers but today I could not find any) No natural shade One restaurant (people waiting in line to enter in the afternoon) One beach bar (take away only) Sunbeds available Lifeguards Parking for free at a bit less than 1km (more or less) However, the beach is beautiful, clear sea, amazing sand

Beautiful beach surrounded by worthwhile nature
Having come to Cala Mesquida by taking the walk from Cala Agulla - which I highly recommend to anyone who likes walking -, I enjoyed a wonderful view on the beach. Cala Mesquida captivates with its clear-blue water and light sand, however there can be high waves sometimes. In the background of the beach, there are dunes and a bridge to walk on. I was lucky enough to see two goats. Don't miss the nature around if you come here!

    Beautiful beach
Beautiful beach. Sunbeds and umbrellas available however there is also plenty space to put blankets/towels down which we did. Water was crystal clear, waves quite large so keep an eye on the kids. Beach hut served ice cream, drinks and food at a reasonable price. Just a beautiful beach in a beautiful location, was very clean when we visited also.

Beware of the guy renting out the sunbeds! He will try to rip you off when different family members are using the beds.
We arrived as a family of seven and rented only two sunbeds and an umbrella, since we brought three of our own umbrellas.
When I returned from parking the car and started using one of the beds, the guy insisted that the beds are not transferable since another family member bought the ticket!
I had to walk to the hut where his boss was sitting and make a scene in order to get the refund. They did not even accept arguments in English and acted as they did not understand suddenly. They sure did and, fortunately, I could use my rusty Castellano and create a scene just enough to stop this madness.
It seems that their business did not suffer enough during the last two years that they try these kind of old-school tricks on their customers in the first year after the opening. A really strange way to welcome your first-time customers.

So far this beach experience has been the worst on this island and we will not come here another day.
The smaller beaches in the south of the island are much more friendly and I have no idea how this beach can win any award with that attitude.

The beach is beautiful, with clear water and gorgeous sand.
Sunbeds available (2 sunbeds and an umbrella for €16.50 in October 2022).
Hut with snack and drinks available at a decent price.

4/5 starts because the debris washed ashore is not cleared.

Parked above the beach in a free car park and walked down some steps for access. Not overly busy (end Sept), the sea was quite rough we visited but plenty of people in swimming and the water was warm. One of the best beaches we visited on the island

Beach itself is beautiful - water stunning and easy access/parking.

Lots of hotels and conveniences and therefore wonderful environment for families and kids. Lots of fun and activity there. Highly recommend for families.

We visited for 30mins. Had a nice swim and then left to head to Cala Torta which was very nice.

When one waits 50+ years between visits one wonders about the memories ...... , I first visited Cala Mesquida in 1965 and again in 1966 and the memories are still vivid , so ok the accommodation has changed but the beautiful landscape has not nor ever will the wonderful beach and the loverly sand dunes the walks across the rocks at the far end of the beach stretching up into the mountains , yes Cala Mesquida was a place of dreams and will always remain so .
A small part of the gorgeous island of Mallorca that is a must for the off season tourist looking for the romantic and near idyllic location of perfection .

Beautiful beach 10 minutes far away by bus n.441 from Cala Ratjada. Even if I couldn't find umbrella and sunbeds, I survived the heat as it was windy. Even if the sea is wonderful, I enjoyed more Cala Agulla because of the Pink colour of the sand and because Agulla is less crowded as it is larger than Mesquida. However, you cannot miss it if you are in the surrounding area.

I just visited Mallorca with my wife and two daughters (5 and 2) and has a wonderful evening at Mesquida beach. We loved everything about it!

You can park 150mts away from the beach. White sand dunes with cristal clear Mediterranean water!

The beach has all amenities including life guard, umbrella and sun beds (15 euros), a cool bar with cold beer and wine and water bikes.

From Mesquida beach you can access many other Calas by beautiful trek paths.

If you want to get away from crowded Alcudia beach but still have amenities available, do not hesitate to go to Cala Mesquida.

Parking very limited, beach ok but littered with cigarette butts, water had sheen of oil, lots of plastic floating in it, much nicer beaches nearby

Amazing beach, all sandy, crystal clear water, like the best in Maldives as long as you are lucky to have the sea calm, good prices for the chairs and umbrellas.
