My husband and I wanted to do something off the strip while we were in Vegas. This tour was awesome from history of the area and the mine. To present day movies and music videos. The mine itself was amazing. Good price. Beautiful views.

If you are the least bit interested in Nevada history or mining you owe it to yourself to take the Eldorado mine tour. Our guide gave an extensive history of the 51 acre site both before and after her family purchased the site.

You kinda have to plan on going to Techatticup Mine. So if you drive the 50 minutes from Las Vegas you definitely need to take the tour. We all had an amazing time.

They do charge for taking professional pictures or if you are there over an hour taking pictures. But you have to check in anyways when you get there inside and they explain all that.

Techatticup takes small groups on their tours of the mine, I am not sure about private tours. I do not believe they run horseback riding tours anymore.
