Five star experience. Greg was super helpful with reservations, and very good at getting the group sorted for a sunrise kayak tour. He’s just the right combination of friendly and outgoing but also allows families time for themselves. Our tour was a paddle across the water to a beach, then a bushwalk to a great vista, followed by a PKT provided snack, and then back down to the beach, where we jumped off the wharf and had a swim. Kayak back to the start venue. All up, two hours. Everyone from the 10 year olds to the young adults and oldies loved it. A perfect way to spend a morning and you couldn’t ask for a friendlier or more knowledgeable guide. We will definitely be back!

We did the morning Kayak tour in January. We kayaked from Iluka park to Barrenjoey head and back. We were able to spot some seals and penguins, which was a pleasant surprise. Even though, me and my wife had very little prior experience, we felt very safe and enjoyed a lot. The guides were very helpful and also took great pics.
Parking near Iluka park was bit expensive ($10 per hour, I'd still say well worth the experience), other than that everything about the experience was great.

We went for the 6am sunrise kayaking experience. Such a beautiful experience. Saw stingrays and jellyfishes in the water and the lights in the sky were dynamic that early in the morning. We also went for a mini hike up a hill to Pride rock with beautiful views. As a non-swimmer and a beginner, I was apprehensive for kayaking. Stu is an excellent guide and took many pics of our adventures for all of us. They are professionals with excellent customer service. I felt very safe and had a fun experience. Highly recommend everyone to check it out - even beginners, non-swimmers and children. I am still reminiscing the whole experience and I’m sad it’s over already. I will be going again.

We’d highly recommend Pittwater Kayak Tours for both strong paddlers and beginners. A last-minute route change was recommended due to high winds but our secondary route was great just the same. Great gear, great guides and beautiful locations!

Love doing this with Pittwater Kayak Tours! First did the morning session earlier this year then decided to take my 10 year old son who'd never kayaked before on a sunrise tour. We were ably guided by expert and YouTube star Stu, of Hunting with Stu. We had a great time 🎉 and will go again this season 🙂

This is the A-Team of kayak experiences! I took my teenage sons for a morning tour and they already want to go back and do it again. PKT leaders are experienced, professional, funny and kind, and they make everything seamless. I highly recommend, whether you are a local or a visitor.

We had a wonderful day kayaking with Stu. It was only the two of us on a nice Sunday morning but the tour still pushed through. I would imagine other tours would have cancelled if there weren’t enough people. It felt more like a private tour. Stu was very experienced in kayaking and gave a lot of tips while on the water. I lost my phone on the beach because I was so stupid to film the approach to the shore and the wave took it. Stu was happy to stay at the beach and even helped us look for the phone that buried in the sand. We skipped the bush walk because we spent so much time on the beach and Stu was happy to accommodate with our request, which wasn’t so bad because the beach was absolutely gorgeous. The day had a perfect ending with my partner finding my phone.
I could not recommend this tour enough to those who like an active day out on the water. Be sure to wake your shoulders and arms up before coz it will be sore the following day. And gloves are handy to protect your hands from rubbing the paddle.
Thank you Stu!

This kayaking experience was so incredibly fun! My who family went as a present for my dad and he LOVED it! and so did we. There were plenty of laughs and Greg and the team made us feel very safe, comfortable and were so great to chat with.
We started off at an easy to find park, grabbed the kayaks and headed to the launch area. Greg gave us a demo and we were off. He based the decision of the landing location based on the groups abilities. The spot we ended up stopping at was awesome and we had a great little bushwalk to some awesome viewpoints looking over all the bays. We got to have a nice swim when we got back to the kayaks - for about 15-20 mins and then paddled back.
This was such an easy and fun trip, the company was excellent and definitely great value for money.

Great fabulous waters of Pittwater, great tour guides Stu and Dylan, fun company and kayakking. Annoying lack of delivering on the promise - no snacks so definitely take your own especially if you are hypoglycemic or just simply need an energy kick (and nope its not about the money even though prices have just gone up), and the 3 hour tour was really 2.5 hours. So would score it 5 for fun and 2 for disappointing, especially as this was a gift.

Our family took a visiting work colleague from overseas on the 9-12 tour and it was a most enjoyable morning. Even though I've lived in Sydney my whole life, this was a perspective I've never had before. Enjoying a quiet, empty, picturesque beach and bush track like that, you'd think you were miles from anywhere. The views at the top were as beautiful as any in the world. Our children are 7 and 10, and if you're taking children, you can expect they will help paddle intermittently and take breaks, so it'd be good if they are with an adult capable of doing the majority of the work. Our guest enjoyed the experience very much, as did we all. Thanks to our guide, Stu!

Hi we're thinking about doing this tour in may what should I wear and what should I bring?
Also I have Arthritis in my hands and wrists how strenuous is the kayating?

Hi, at the moment we are having unseasonably warm weather for May, during the day it is 20 - 25 degrees celcius. The water is still quite warm for May. The kayak is approximately 4.5km in total. Most people with an intermediate level of fitness are fine to do this activity.
I would put you in a double kayak, so your partner can assist if your arthritis gets painful.
Wear clothes that can get wet, layers if its cold and a spray jacket. Bring shoes for the bushwalk and a change of clothes for once were finished.
Kind regards
Greg
