We drove here from Sydney rather than take the guided tour. By driving ourselves we had much more time to explore the area, walk to the lighthouse and get lunch at The Boathouse. The area is very beautiful and was very quiet on the day...More

Second visit and it was just as fabulous. The blues and greens of the sea on a sunny day are just stunning. The water is so clear you can see rock formations easily. Not sure what colour I would call the sand, a rich gold...More

Palm beach is quite relaxing. You have to pay for parking. Best to come early walk up to the lighthouse and then hit the beach for a swim.

Visited the PalmBeach and Barrenjoey on a sunny Saturday with nice cool breeze. The place looked so serene and tranquil that you would be tempted to stay here and admire the beauty on offer. That's exactly what we did, although we set out from Sydney...More

We went here out of season so it was very quiet. Must be a great beach for surfing as there were big waves! Lovely clean sandy beach for a walk and great for photos. Would recommend stopping here as there is plenty of parking on...More

We often drive to Palm Beach for coffee or walk. It is quiet relax beach area. There are nice restaurants too. It's bit expensive but you will satisfy. My husband goes there for fishing sometime.

Must see destination North of Sydney. Bice long beach where you could surf and snorkel. Amazing view from the cliff and from Light House!

The beach views and surrounds are a delight. The sand are little pebbles compared to Gold Coast. The atmosphere is a delight. My favourite beach to visit when in Sydney.

There would be a long hike up to the lighthouse which would be a few klms. The houses are set on the side of hills and once again it would be a long climb.
