Came here today (Sunday) on a sunny day which meant it was packed and hard to park. Palm Beach is now my favorite beach. Heads up if you plan on driving it's $4 an hour to park here between 8am and 10pm or $20 for the day.

What a superbly pretty little location. Today the water was smooth and the weather cloudy but fine. This is such a tranquil location. Recommended.

I honestly love this beach. It's just as great as any of the other ones, but it's not as busy. Less people, more space to spread out. It's a bit of a drive to get to but the drive is well worth it. And the homes up against the cliffs, simply amazing.

I decided to visit the world famous Palm Beach by taking the bus which cost a fraction of what it would for a tour. Granted the journey is a long one but it is worth it. I decided to climb up to the top of the Barrenjoey Lighthouse trail for some excellent views. There is the option of the steps... More

Arriving at Palm Beach the beach was very exposed and wind rolling in. It wasn't cold as the sun was still out, but a bit too windy for enjoyment. Often when this side is windy, the other side overlooking the harbour is sheltered so the trip is never wasted.

Very pretty spot and the surf was not huge so great for young children. Water was very clean. Parking can be a problem and it is at a cost. Not a lot of shade but most people bought their own. Would have loved to spend more time there.

Palm Beach is long and sandy and about an 1.5 hours north of Sydney. Getting there is a beautiful drive as you wind up the coast through Avalon and other beach towns. I recommend heading out in the morning to get a parking spot near the beach and then visiting some very nice little restaurants next to the beach for... More

What a nice beach. Not very touristic and quite big. It is not difficult to get there, but it takes about 2 hours from Sydney by bus. It is worth visiting though
