Great place to take overseas visitors

Palm Beach is a serene place to visit. The beach is stunning whatever the weather. A nice place for a Sunday drive, go for breakfast and enjoy the day there.

If you've been caught by the "home and away" buzz you might enjoy a visit here. If you haven't you'll probably find better beaches a lot closer to Sydney. It's a long drive for a beach and a couple of cafes

Drove from Manly to Palm Beach * crowded * paid parking is over-rated * unorganised * felt like a not very good tourist trap

A wonderful spot to visit in the Winter when the beach is quite, car parks are plentiful and locals very friendly! This is the place to visit for delightful meals at the local Cafes and strolls along the beach having the calm Pittwater to one side and the surf beach to the other each within walking distance!

Luckily sunny day! It's been raining and wet around Manly. Small coffee and souvenir, surfing shops near by the beach. Picturesque.

North side is quiet, south side is busy. There's a rockpool at the south side - great for kids. The north side is more for surfing, or just chilling on the beach - not great surf - there are far better beaches on the Northern Beaches. Parking is tricky, especially at the south end, and of course you have to... More

Heading up to Palm Beach from Sydney is a great day trip. It's one of my favorite beaches in the Sydney area. Beautiful beaches (check out whale beach too) and a nice laid back town. And some very good restaurants. Jonah's for example is a great place for a special occasion lunch or dinner! The beach is beautiful and big... More

Palm beach benefits from two fantastic beaches, one on the lagoon side, the other on the sea side. Great places to be. If you stay in Sydney a trip to Palm Beach is a must.

Don't miss Palm Beach - and any of the beaches on the way to Palm Beach. Palm Beach is a lovely spot to spend a couple of hours. Walking in the dunes, enjoying the nature or climbing up to the Lighthouse. You'll find there many possibilities
