This is a fairly small Nature Reserve with well defined footpaths through the woodland, plenty of wild flowers to enjoy, a mixture of mature and new trees. Approximately 1 mile to walk the circular path. We enjoyed the peacefulness of it.

This was my first visit to RSPB Wolves Wood, although I must have driven past a thousand times! Delighted that I was the only visitor on arrival and was looking forward to a very quiet and peaceful walk round. The ground was a bit soggy...More

The name sounds very attractive but not to be recommended. It is very muddy and you land up with a very mucky dog. The duck boards are sunk in the mud. One plus was the beautiful bird song.

This wood, which you can walk slowly round in an hour, is a little gem. Visiting in late Feb the bird life was quiet, but the absence of a leaf canopy enabled us to view the conservation and coppicing in uninterrupted style. Having said that,...More

Very quiet and peaceful even though it is so close to the main road. This review asks for 100 characters min, but there was not any more to say.

Nice little walk on a Sunday afternoon. Bit muddy in places. Lots of trees, mainly under shelter. Worth a little stop as you pass.

Always worth a stroll. All manner of wildlife, only a four star due to the fact that because its an RSPB reserve no dogs allowed.

Saw no birds at all, or any other wildlife. Lots of trees had been cut down and just piled up, looking a bit tatty! The water areas didnt look too healthy either. Lots of it also seemed fenced off too. A good place to walk...More

This is an amazing place to take a walk as it's been left to be as natural as possible. So, it is basically how England was hundreds of years ago before being farmed and built on. It's totally different from a walk in one of...More

Hi, Unfortunately dogs are not allowed at Wolves Wood due to the sensitive nature of the site, and to protect the ground nesting birds. Many thanks for your co-operation.
