Great beach with a really nice view if you walk up the path. You will be able to get a view from higher up with a small and larger beach.

Great swimming in tranquil aqua blue waters with good food/drink service. Less than 10 minute drive from Armenistis.

This is a very popular surf beach, the waves can get pretty big here when its not a calm day. Not my preferred beach but I'm not saying it wasn't nice.

Loved armenistis. So many options, walking either way. Restaurants to stop at, water warm for swimming. Will return.

Great sandy beach that wasn't overly crowded and plenty of beach bars in walking distance and the Ikaria Surf School where you can rent paddle boards or take surf lessons

Both, Livadi and Mesakti beach are at north side of Ikaria. Large, organized sandy beaches and clear wathers. Sunbeds, umbrellas, small cantinas, no wather sports, just surfing school.
Sometimes big waves. The left side of Mesakti Gulf is the best for kids.

The beaches of Armenistis,Messakti and Yaliskari are all in one side and are three of the most beautiful on the island. Organised with small cantines, umbrellas, sunbeds and non mechanical water sports. Always beware of the waves, in all Ikarian beaches

One of the best beaches in the island of Ikaria in Greece is Mesakti. Very well organised - beach bar, umbrellas, different activities for young and older people.

What is the best shoulder season, not interested in high season. Price per night at the hotel. The temperature during those times.

I was mod June and war perfect. Not very hot and pleasent sea. A litlle bit chill on evening in the mountains. I palid 40€ for an apartment with 1 bedroom, suitable for 3 adulți or 2 adulți and 2 litlle kids, în Gialiskari.
