Been there for a visit + tasting at the beginning of July. Location + staff are great...welcoming and prepared during the wine tasting...the wine estate didn't really impress me architecturaly and it's very empty inside - i ve seen very much better. Wines generally with a good price/quality ratio. Visit + tasting 60 euros

This winery visit in Tuscany is a must. It start with the welcoming, the smile and the friendship by Caterina, she was an outstanding hostess. The view from the top is second to none, the trees, the ocean, the manicure landscaping, can not leave you passive. The tour which included the production of the wine, all the way down yo the cellar, is worthwhile. Do not miss it.

Only went to the tasting, but would've loooved to have gone on the tour (was fully booked).
We drove around the winery though as we got hopelessly lost trying to find the Enoteca where the tasting was held. It's the second closest winery to the sea in Bolgheri and perched on a hill, so you can have a gorgeous view.
Our experience was initially soured by somewhat snooty office staff sort of unwilling to give us clear directions to the Enoteca, just gestured in very vague terms. Then we bumped into the cellar staff who were going home, one lovely lady offered to drive us right there and made sure we got settled into our tasting! Things took a turn for the better.
We settled down for our tasting with Lara who was a brilliant hostess, both knowledgeable and generous.
Then of course came the wines... drinkers of Argentiera will know that they are special. I never tried any of their second or third wines, so was intrigued. They were all sensational, including the white and the rosato.
I can't recommend the tour myself as I didn't go, but I can say that the setting is spectacular, so it should be good, and the tasting afterwards will be unforgettable.

We stopped in for a quick tasting a week or so ago and the wines were all very good examples from the area. I was hoping to see the estate because it is quite beautiful, but that wasn't possible with a tasting and I'm not sure if you can with a tour or not. Just make sure before booking.

The location is a classic Tuscany hill place but really close to the coast, the panorama that you can see from the top of the estate is absolutely fabulous, the service is perfect, the wine too. If you also find a sunny spring day.. You feel in paradise!
We booked a tour with an expert of the company that explained and showed us all the process needed to reach the goal of an excellent wine. They definitely reach it. Thanks for the experience, the tour is highly recommended.

We did a private tour with our host, cute girl, which showed us everything, from wineyeards, cellar to wine tasting with prosciuto and cheeses.
We had some very special wines and the time spent there was worth of 30 EUR/person.
Highly recommended!

So many of the Bolgheri DOC wineries require an advance appointment and a tour. We have done so many tours that all we wanted was a tasting and explanation of the wines. Tenuta Argentiera offered just that. For 16 Euros per tasting, we tasted three reds, including their Superiore. Lovely setting, knowledgeable hostess, and excellent wines.

While perhaps not yet as famous as Sassicaia or Ornellaia, this estate is certainly well worth a visit.
The Argentiera Bolgheri Superiore very well represents the "Super Tuscan" blends of the area… at a price that is (somewhat) less eye-watering.
Tours of the magnificent Argentieria facilities require a reservation… options include a wine tasting with lunch for groups up to 30 persons.
