I spent 10 minutes watching the sunset at Naddi point, but the charm of the moment gets lost in the noise and chatter of the large crowds. People are cramped into the small cafe and surrounding spaces. If you are looking for a peaceful evening, this place is not the best option.

Naddi view point is one of the best place to visit. you can see mountains with snow. I visited in June hence there was very little snow but it is a must visit place. Also I would recommend to go on walk for about 1 km to feel the nature.

A beautiful view spot where you can take a mesmerizing view of the mighty Dhauladhar Range. It is easily accessible by road and a very short trek thereafter will get you to the exact viewpoint.

Would recommend not to visit during the rainy season as the view would be cloudy.

This location is little futher to the dry Dal lake and should be expored in the evening for sunset views. On one side you can get views of the dhauladhar ranges which you can enjoy till sunset. The sunset can be seen from the other side but is generally blocked by houses and restaurants which require you to order something in order to sit and view the sunset from there balconies.

If you want to see snowfall near Dharamshala, this is the best place. Also a fantastic view of the valley. Only issues are getting stuck if it snows for long as the approach road is too narrow with a steep climb.

This view point from Naddi is one of the best views you can get from Dharamshala and McLoed Ganj. When you get off the car there are 2 paths. The path to the right gives a scenic view of the snow capped mountains. You can just walk half way and return as it’s a dead end with a yoga Center. The path to the left going up gives a beautiful view of the sunset. The main issue is to enjoy the sunset the sky has to be very clear. After you see the sunset go back to the path on the right and the snow capped mountains had a more beautiful look.

Naddi is famous for sunset views. If it is cloudy or in thick winters you will not be able to appreciate this point. 20-25 minutes drive uphill through narrow road with traffic jams and no tourist friendly facilities and no arrangements you reach this point. Visit only in evening otherwise avoid. Highly commercial place with mid range hotels and small shops. You get to see good view of sunsets and snow capped mountains . It could be avoided in case you are running off time. People take a walk but only for young children. Too cold in winters . Just average nothing great point.

Watching the sunset is breathtaking. Unfortunately there's no signage around, but don't miss the spots near by (few mins walking from the where cars are parked) that are equally if not more memerising.

Be prepared to bump into noisy groups but if you just stay focused on being present and breathe in the aura of nature engulfing you, you'll soon find the noise around just fades away.

This is a great stop for the start of an evening followed by an early dinner in Dharamshala or Mcleodganj.

The car goes to almost the start point . Small cafe and shops selling chips fruits water etc can be found. The views are breathtaking . There is also a yoga ashram where they will be happy to give you a free demo if meditation and you can practise with the ashram staff who are very welcoming . The views point itself is amazing and you can see river mountains rare birds . Must visit

Walking up and up and up, delightful, prayer drums, views, flags, small meditation huts, friendly people, and then Naddi village with so many friendly people and animals. Masala Chai tea and Ginger-honey-lemon for my friends athe the viewpoint cafe, with a breathtaking view!! will never forget it. although we did not stay in the hotel, we visited it and I thought what a wonderful place to stay overnight. Maybe next time....
